Riley went 1-for-3 with a walk, a solo home run and a second run scored in Monday's 5-2 win over the Nationals.
He got the party started for Atlanta by taking Cory Abbott deep in the first inning. Riley's slashing .250/.326/.526 over his last 20 contests with six of his career-high 37 homers on the year, and he has 15 games left in the regular season to drive home the eight runs he needs to record his second straight 100-RBI campaign.

Longoria isn't starting Monday against Colorado, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.
Longoria has a .390 OPS in September and zero hits in the past week. He will begin Monday's game in the dugout while David Villar will start at third base. LaMonte Wade will move over to first base and Luis Gonzalez will pick up a start in right field, batting eighth.

Wisdom has gone just 1-for-17 with an RBI and six strikeouts over five games since returning from the injured list last weekend, and he'll retreat to the bench for the third time in the last four games. P.J. Higgins is starting at first base and batting fifth. Wisdom's ongoing struggles could result in him moving into a bench role over the final two weeks of the season.

Machado went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run, an additional run scored and a walk in Sunday's 6-1 win over the Diamondbacks.
Machado got the scoring going early with his first-inning blast, and that was all the Padres needed. Over his last seven games, he's gone 4-for-26 (.154), and his homer Sunday was his first extra-base hit in that span. Extended slumps have been rare for the third baseman this year, as evidenced by his sturdy .296/.365/.531 slash line through 136 games. He's added 29 homers, 92 RBI, 90 runs scored and seven stolen bases.

Castro accounted for three of the Pirates' four hits and their lone run with his ninth-inning solo shot. The 23-year-old infielder has hit safely in nine of his last 10 games, going 12-for-42 (.286) with four homers, three doubles, nine RBI and six runs scored in that span. He's been trending in the right direction lately, with the hot stretch putting him at a .244 batting average, .760 OPS, 10 homers, five steals, 21 RBI, 19 runs scored and seven doubles through 56 contests overall.
