Nationals' Carter Kieboom: Rejoins lineup Sunday
Kieboom (forearm) is in the lineup for Sunday's game at Cincinnati, Jesse Dougherty of The Washington Post reports.
Kieboom didn't start the past two games while dealing with a left forearm injury, but it was apparently a minor concern as he's back in the lineup for the series finale. The 24-year-old has struggled through 21 games in September with a .167/.244/.179 slash line, and he'll attempt to finish with a strong final week of the season now that he's healthy enough to play.

Brewers' Eduardo Escobar: Plates both runs in win
Escobar went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBI in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Mets. He was also hit by a pitch.
The infielder accounted for half of Milwaukee's hits and all of the team's run production in the low-scoring win. Escobar had gone 0-for-15 in a four-game series versus the surging Cardinals, but he's found more success against the Mets' pitching staff. For the season, the 32-year-old has a .249/.313/.468 slash line with 28 home runs, 85 RBI, 73 runs scored and a stolen base across 576 plate appearances.

Cardinals' Edmundo Sosa: Sidelined as expected
Sosa (wrist) remains on the bench for Saturday's game against the Cubs, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

Patrick Wisdom 3B | SEA
Cubs' Patrick Wisdom: Launches home run
Wisdom went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in a loss in the second game of Friday's doubleheader against the Cardinals.
Wisdom went hitless in the first game of Friday' twin bill but connected on a two-strike fastball in the first inning of the second game, sending it 453 feet to center field. The long ball was his 28th of the year as he's making a late push for the National League Rookie of the Year award. The 29-year-old is slashing .233/.304/.522 with 28 home runs, 61 RBI, 54 runs scored, four steals and 30:151 BB:K over 369 plate appearances. His power is clear as day, although his 40.9 strikeout rate is limiting his potential at the plate.

Kieboom was removed from Friday's lineup shortly before the start of the contest, and he didn't appear off the bench in the loss. Manager Dave Martinez revealed after the game that the third baseman is dealing with a forearm injury after being hit by a pitch earlier in the week, and he'll undergo an MRI on Saturday to determine the extent of the issue.
