Rendon went 2-for-5 with a triple, a home run, three RBI and two runs scored Friday night against the Mets.

Rendon knocked home a run in the fourth inning with a triple to right center, and he cranked a two-run homer in the seventh to give his club the lead. He continues to impress this season in Washington, slashing .315/.400/.608 with 25 homers and 90 RBI over 101 contests.

Suarez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 5-2 win over the Cubs.

His fourth-inning blast off Yu Darvish proved to be the winning run on the night. Suarez now has 31 homers on the season, with 11 of them coming in 27 games since the All-Star break -- a stretch during which the 28-year-old is slashing a robust .284/.381/.674.

Rendon (toe) is in the lineup and hitting third Friday against the Mets, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic reports.

He left Wednesday's game after getting hit in the right big toe by a pitch, but after Thursday's off day he is ready to take the field. Rendon is 5-for-20 with one home run in six August games.

Longoria went 2-for-4 in Thursday's 5-0 win over the Phillies.

Longoria has gone 4-for-15 with a double in four games since being activated off the injured list Aug. 4. More importantly, he has only been benched in favor of Pablo Sandoval once since his return. The latter has been the more productive bat at the hot corner for the Giants this season, but Longoria's albatross of a contract (he's currently in the third year of a six-year, $100 million deal) may keep him in an everyday role despite his declining production (.242/.316/.440). The 33-year-old does have 13 homers through 87 games, which may be enough to warrant deep mixed and NL-only consideration.

Anderson went 2-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI during Thursday's 9-2 win over the Braves.

Anderson blasted a solo home run in the first inning before adding a two-run shot to help his club pull away in the fourth. The 26-year-old has found his power stroke of late, with four homers, three doubles and five RBI over his last six games. Anderson will look to keep it up over the rest of the weekend series in Atlanta.

Anderson followed Starlin Castro's lead with a home run in the first inning off Dallas Keuchel. The 26-year-old also singled in the third, then hit his second long ball of the night with a two-run shot in the fourth, marking his first ever multi-homer game. Anderson has now hit three homers over the last two games as his power surge continues. Overall this season, he's batting .252/.333/.468 with 20 home runs, 58 RBI and 51 runs scored.

Rivera was outrighted to Triple-A New Orleans on Thursday, Andre Fernandez of The Athletic reports.

Rivera was designated for assignment by the Marlins on Tuesday, but after failing to draw interest while on waivers, he'll head to Triple-A.

Riley has a partially torn LCL and will get a second opinion from Dr. James Andrews on Monday, Gabe Burns of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Riley will be seen by team doctors in Miami, according to 680 The Fan Atlanta, but is feeling a lot better Thursday and is walking around without any issues. With a surgery decision looming, it is uncertain if the 22-year-old has played his last game of the season. The Braves currently believe Riley won't be forced to go under the knife, according to Burns, though more won't be known until after Monday's visit with Dr. Andrews. He is currently slashing .242/.294/.504 with 45 RBI and 38 runs scored in 255 plate appearances.

Riley (knee) will visit Dr. James Andrews on Monday, Gabe Burns of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

He was already placed on the injured list with a right knee ligament injury, to a different part of the knee than last year's injury, per Burns. Riley apparently suffered the injury while working out in the weight room earlier this week. A visit with Dr. Andrews typically means surgery is a likelihood, so Riley could have played his last game of the 2019 season.

Escobar went 0-for-3 with a walk, stolen base and RBI In Wednesday's 6-1 win over the Phillies.

Escobar collected his 93rd RBI on a sacrifice fly in the third inning, allowing him to inch ahead of the Braves' Freddie Freeman (92) for the major-league lead. The steal was also a welcome addition for fantasy managers, who likely didn't draft Escobar with the expectation that he would offer much in the category. He still only has five stolen bases on the campaign, but that actually matches his previous career-best total from 2017.
