Rendon is out of Friday's lineup against the Phillies, William Ladson of MLB.com reports.

It's likely just a day off for Rendon, who is hitting .333/.415/.611 in his last 20 games after a very slow start. Stephen Drew will get the start at third base, hitting seventh.

Peterson was recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett on Friday, David O'Brien of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Peterson's bat was too weak for even the rebuilding Braves earlier in the season; he was optioned in May after slashing .182/.260/.205 in his first 50 plate appearances. He really wasn't much better at Triple-A though, hitting .186/.258/.533 in a larger sample. He should figure into the team's depth at second base and outfield, but the bat isn't strong enough to make him a significant asset.

LeMahieu went 2-for-3 with a pair of walks, a home run, three RBI and three runs in Thursday's 11-5 victory over the Pirates.

The second baseman entered the day just 1-for-12 against Pirates starter Jeff Locke, but LeMahieu began leveling that lopsided stat with a two-run double in the bottom of the first. He crushed a two-run homer, his fourth of the season, off Locke three innings later for good measure. LeMahieu is slashing a sweet .308/.377/.465 through 198 at-bats this season.

Anderson was promoted to Double-A Jacksonville on May 31 after hitting .302/.377/.440 at High-A Jupiter, Guy Curtright of MiLB.com reports.

Anderson's power was evident during his time at High-A Jupiter this season, as was his ability to hit for average. He posted 12 doubles, two triples, and three home runs across 182 at-bats while contributing 25 RBI and scoring 27 runs. Anderson is 6-for-29 with Jacksonville thus far and has an on-base percentage of .361.

Rendon went 3-for-5 with a home run, a double, three RBI and two runs scored in Tuesday's win over the White Sox.

Rendon endured a slow start to the season, but his bat has come alive in June, as he has an OPS of 1.053 this month. He has been operating out of the seventh spot in the lineup of late, but his recent success, combined with the struggles of Washington's current top-of-the-order selections, could see him move up if current trends continue. Rendon's injury-riddled 2015 campaign made him a virtual afterthought heading into 2016, but perhaps a player who finished fifth in MVP voting in 2014 should not be so easily dismissed.

Segura went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts in Monday's loss to the Rays, dropping his season average to .294.

Segura is in a slump right now, going just 9-for-48 (.188) over the last two weeks. After an incredibly hot start to the season, it's not too surprising to see the 26-year-old's numbers regress, especially considering he's a career .269 hitter and has never had a season average above .294. Segura is still worth owning, however, as his speed and run-scoring potential atop the Arizona lineup make him a fantasy asset so long as he's getting on base.

LeMahieu is back in the lineup for Monday's matchup with the Dodgers, Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post reports. He's batting second and playing second base.

LeMahieu received a routine day off Sunday, but is back in the lineup Monday as Colorado faces off against the Dodgers' Mike Bolsinger. The 27-year-old is proving that his breakout campaign in 2015 was no fluke, as he's once again batting near .300 and is on pace for 90-plus runs and double-digit steals.

Asche will not start Monday's game against the Cubs, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

Asche had started the previous four games since being activated from the disabled list, but is just 2-for-12 over that stretch. The Phillies will go with an outfield trio of Tyler Goeddel, Peter Bourjos and Jimmy Paredes for the series opener.

Arenado went 3-for-3 with a double, a homer, a walk, three RBI and four runs in Sunday night's victory against the Padres.

The third baseman stuffed the stat sheet, falling a triple short of the cycle while reaching base five times - he was hit on the left elbow by a pitch in the ninth inning. Aside from his own two-run blast, Arenado was on base for both of Carlos Gonzalez's homers. He leads the NL with 18 home runs and is tied for the MLB lead with Todd Frazier and Mark Trumbo. Arenado is also setting the pace for the Rockies with 47 RBI and 24 walks.

LeMahieu is out of the lineup Sunday against the Giants.

LeMahieu is hitless in his last three games, so the timing was right for what appears to be a regular maintenance day. He'll take his .804 season OPS to the bench Sunday, giving way to Daniel Descalso at the keystone.
