Dodgers' Max Muncy: Dealing with elbow injury
Muncy was diagnosed with a left elbow injury after being removed from Sunday's game against the Brewers, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.
Muncy had his left arm run into by a baserunner while attempting to field a throw at first base, and he appeared to be in significant pain before leaving the field. The severity of the elbow injury remains unclear, leaving the 31-year-old's availability for the wild-card game, or a potential Game 163 versus the Giants, up in the air.

Dodgers' Max Muncy: Exits with apparent wrist injury
Muncy was removed from Sunday's game against the Brewers with an apparent left wrist injury, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
The 31-year-old suffered the injury during the third inning of Sunday's contest on a collision at first base with baserunner Jace Peterson, as Peterson collided with Muncy's left arm while he attempted to field a throw from catcher Will Smith. Muncy appeared to be in significant pain and left the field cradling his left wrist. It'd be a huge blow for the Dodgers heading into the playoffs if he's forced to miss any time.

Nevin will start in left field and bat seventh Sunday against the Blue Jays.
Nevin will close the season with his third start in four games in left field while Ryan McKenna heads to the bench. Since his call-up from Triple-A Norfolk on Tuesday, Nevin has gone 2-for-5 with a double, two walks, two RBI and two runs.

Escobar is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers.
With the Brewers already being locked into their playoff positioning, manager Craig Counsell will rest several veterans for the regular-season finale. Along with Escobar, fellow lineup regulars Lorenzo Cain, Christian Yelich and Kolten Wong will sit Sunday. Luis Urias replaces Escobar at third base.

Segura will remain on the bench for the third straight game to close out the season after the Phillies were eliminated from the playoffs. Barring an appearance off the bench, he'll finish the campaign with a .290/.348/.436 slash line, 14 homers, 58 RBI, 76 runs and nine stolen bases.

Chapman is on the bench for Sunday's game against the Astros, Matt Kawahara of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Barring an appearance off the bench, Chapman finishes the season slashing .210/.314/.403 with 27 home runs and 72 RBI. Chad Pinder is starting at third base and batting cleanup Sunday.

The Yankees placed LeMahieu (hip) on the 10-day injured list, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
Manager Aaron Boone said the infielder could be ready for a potential ALCS, but his absence will be huge for Sunday's regular-season finale and any potential one-game playoff that follows. Rougned Odor figures to pick up the bulk of LeMahieu's playing time for now.

Donaldson went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and two total runs in Saturday's 4-0 win over the Royals.
The veteran slugger put the Twins on the board in the first inning, launching a 435-foot solo shot to left field. That would be all the run support Minnesota's staff would need in the shutout win. During Donaldson's current five-game hit streak, he has gone 6-for-18 with a a pair of homers and five RBI. His 26 homers and 74 RBI each ranks third on the team in 2021.
