Riley went 3-for-5 with two home runs and four RBI in Wednesday's 8-2 win over the Nationals.

The third baseman helped Atlanta pull away in the contest with two-run blasts in the seventh and eighth innings. Riley's 18 homers on the season have him tied with Pete Alonso for the National League lead, and six of those rockets have come in June -- a month in which he's slashing .271/.338/.644 with 13 runs and 14 RBI in 14 games.

Moncada went 5-for-6 with a double, a home run, two runs scored and five RBI in Wednesday's 13-0 rout of the Tigers.

It had been just over a month since Moncada had a multi-hit game or a homer, but the 27-year-old accomplished both in a slump-busting performance. In the 22 games since his last productive outing, Moncada had slashed a woeful .115/.159/.141 with only three runs and three RBI. Jake Burger (hand) seemed on the verge of stealing the starting job at third base until he got hurt, but that competition might have been what Moncada needed to wake up at the plate.

Ramirez went 4-for-5 with a double, a stolen base and a run scored in Wednesday's 7-5 win over the Rockies.

Ramirez is now 14-for-29 (.483) during his seven-game hitting streak. In that span, he's added two home runs, three stolen bases, nine RBI and seven runs scored. The third baseman is contributing across the board, but this recent surge has put his batting average over .300 for the first time since May 13. He's slashing .307/.402/.651 with 16 homers, 62 RBI, 41 runs scored, 11 steals, four triples and 19 doubles through 254 plate appearances overall.

Machado went 2-for-3 with a home run, two walks, three runs and four RBI in a 19-5 victory against the Cubs on Wednesday.

Machado torched Chicago on Wednesday with singles in the first and seventh, walks in the third and fourth and a two-run homer in the fifth. The five times on base was the third such time this season for the 29-year-old, who broke out of a mini-3-for-21 slump with the excellent performance. Machado has seen his numbers dip in June, though his .322/.396/.536 line would still set new career highs nearly across the board.

Devers went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, two walks and three total runs scored in Wednesday's 10-1 win over the Athletics.

Devers didn't wait long to extend his homer streak to four games, going deep in the second inning. Each of his long balls during this streak have come with at least one man on base. The third baseman continues to excel in 2022 with a .332/.374/.617 slash line, 16 homers, 40 RBI, 52 runs scored, one stolen base and 23 doubles through 62 contests.

Chapman went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Wednesdays' 7-6 extra-inning win over the Orioles.

Chapman went deep in the third inning off Orioles starter Bruce Zimmermann. This was Chapman's second homer in as many games since he missed three contests due to wrist soreness. He's gone 12-for-38 (.316) in 10 games in June, lifting his season numbers up to a .223 batting average, .708 OPS, nine homers, 27 RBI, 30 runs scored and nine doubles through 58 games. His OPS hadn't been over .700 since May 4.

Newman (groin/hamstring) has progressed in his recovery and will be considered for a rehab assignment within the next five days, Justice delos Santos of MLB.com reports.

The 28-year-old has been participating in all baseball activities without pain for at least a week, and he's now on the cusp of a minor-league rehab assignment. Newman was on the injured list for a month with the groin injury when he suffered a hamstring injury in late May, so he'll likely require at least a handful of games in the minors to get back up to speed.

Rendon (wrist) is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Dodgers, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports.

The 32-year-old exited Tuesday's contest after aggravating his right wrist injury, and he'll be held out of the lineup for at least one game. Rendon missed two weeks due to the injury before being activated from the injured list Friday, and the severity of the issue this time around remains unclear.

The Cubs placed Madrigal on the 10-day injured list Wednesday with a left groin strain, Tim Stebbins of NBC Sports Chicago reports.

Madrigal will head to the injured list for the second time this season after previously missing time in May due to back tightness. The No. 4 overall pick in the 2018 first-year player draft missed the entire second half of the 2021 campaign while recovering from hamstring surgery, so the Cubs have received just 115 plate appearances since he was acquired from the White Sox at last year's trade deadline. While Madrigal is on the shelf, Jonathan Villar looks to be first in line for reps at second base.

Urias (oblique) said Wednesday that his recovery process is "going slow," Andy Kostka of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Urias landed on the injured list with a left oblique strain Saturday and hasn't made significant process in his recovery yet. Although his rehab process isn't going as quickly as he had hoped, the 28-year-old said Wednesday that he doesn't expect to be sidelined too long. Tyler Nevin has served as Baltimore's primary third baseman in Urias' absence.
