Groover was named to the All-Star Futures Game roster Monday, Connor Emery of Arizona Sports reports.

Groover, 23, returned to Double-A Amarillo to start the 2025 season and will likely take the next step to Triple-A Reno. He has a .301/.377/.471 line with 10 home runs and 36 RBI over 67 games for the Sod Poodles. There are questions about Groover's defense, but he's spent all season at third base. He could eventually swing to the cold corner where his defense and quickness won't get in the way of his bat.

Suarez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 4-2 win over the Giants.

Suarez put a good finish on a productive June, a month in which he hit .315 (29-for-92) with 11 homers and 27 RBI. The third baseman is up to 26 long balls on the year after that power surge. He's added a .257/.324/.570 slash line with 69 RBI, 49 runs scored, 16 doubles and one stolen base over 82 contests.

Caminero went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run during Monday's 6-4 loss to the Athletics.

Caminero has been having a breakout campaign this season, and that continued with another home run Monday. He's now up to 21 home runs on the season, tied for ninth in MLB. At 21-years-old, he is the youngest member of the top-10. The young infielder is slashing .259/.303/.518 with 53 RBI this season.

Hayes went 1-for-4 with two RBI in Monday's 7-0 win against the Cardinals.

The 28-year-old stretched Pittsburgh's lead to 6-0 when he ripped a two-RBI single off St. Louis starter Erick Fedde in the fifth inning. The hit caps a solid June during which Hayes hit .301 (25-for-83) with a homer, three steals, 12 runs scored and 11 RBI in 23 games. Through 311 total plate appearances, the third baseman is slashing .246/.297/.304 with two homers, nine steals, 27 runs scored and 29 RBI.

Bohm went 1-for-3 with a walk in Monday's 4-0 victory over the Padres.

Bohm wraps up a productive month of June on a modest four-game hitting streak. Through his last 27 outings, the corner infielder is batting .301 with two home runs, four doubles, 16 RBI and one stolen base covering 103 at-bats. Bohm has been swinging a hot bat since the beginning of May as well, slashing .312/.359/.454 with seven homers, eight doubles and 29 RBI over his last 54 contests (223 plate appearances).

Chapman (hand) may be able to return to action ahead of the Giants' six-game homestand beginning July 7 versus the Phillies, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Chapman took batting practice Monday, after which manager Bob Melvin said it's possible that the third baseman could be available for the entirety of San Francisco's upcoming homestand. Chapman has been out since June 8 due to a right hand sprain, and he seems to be on track to return prior to the All-Star break.

Schmitt (wrist) was placed on the 10-day injured list Monday, retroactive to June 27, Justice delos Santos of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Schmitt will officially head to the IL after missing the team's last four games with a bone bruise in his left wrist. The 26-year-old will now be sidelined for at least one more week before he'd be eligible to return to action July 7. In the meantime, Tyler Fitzgerald was recalled from Triple-A Sacramento on Monday to replace Schmitt on the major-league roster.

Williamson is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Royals.

The rookie will head to the bench for the second time in three games while Miles Mastrobuoni gets the nod at third base. Though Williamson has produced an adequate .254 batting average since being promoted from Triple-A Tacoma on April 13, he's drawn walks at a weak 4.1 percent rate and isn't hitting for much power (.052 ISO). Mastrobuoni profiles as more of a utility player and might not be a serious threat to unseat Williamson atop the depth chart, but Seattle could look outside the organization for an upgrade at third base prior to the July 31 trade deadline if the team remains in the thick of the playoff picture.

Schmitt is expected to require a stint on the 10-day injured list due to a bone bruise in his left wrist, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

An MRI on Schmitt's wrist came back negative, but he's still dealing with a painful bone bruise and could use additional down time. Tyler Fitzgerald has a locker at Chase Field and it sounds like he could be added to the roster in Schmitt's place prior to Monday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Westburg said Monday that it's likely his injured left index finger won't be 100 percent for a while, but he is hoping it will be "good enough" to play within a day or two, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Westburg is absent from the lineup for a third straight game Monday after aggravating his finger injury in Friday's contest versus the Rays. He is considered day-to-day, and if he does return to the lineup soon, it sounds like he will have to play through some discomfort.
