Hayes went 1-for-3 with a pair of walks and an RBI in Monday's 6-5 win over Arizona.

He reached base three times for the second time since July and stole his third base since June. The rookie also avoided ignominy when a Diamondbacks challenge that Hayes missed second base was denied. The third baseman is slashing .230/.296/.297 with a homer and two steals in August as his up-and-down season continues.

Bregman (quadriceps, hamstring) went 3-for-5 with a run scored for Triple-A Sugar Land on Monday.

Monday's game was the third of Bregman's second rehab assignment and the second straight in which he's played nine innings. He's seemingly ready to rejoin the Astros after going 6-for-13 with a home run, four RBI and three runs scored. He will likely be evalutated at Minute Maid Park on Tuesday.

Rivera went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored in Monday's 7-1 win over Houston.

The 25-year-old recorded his third multi-hit effort in his last seven games. In that span, Rivera has gone 10-for-26 (.385) with a home run, three RBI and five runs scored. The third baseman is up to five RBI and seven runs scored through 18 games, and he should be able to maintain a regular role now that he's in a groove at the plate.

Chapman has been scratched from Monday's lineup against the Mariners due to a left foot contusion, Shayna Rubin of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Chapman recently underwent X-rays and was diagnosed with a bruised left foot. He'll be considered day-to-day until further notice. Josh Harrison will take Chapman's place at the hot corner as a result Monday evening.

Urshela (hamstring) will play in another rehab game Tuesday and could be activated Thursday against Oakland, Sweeny Murti of Sports Radio 66 WFAN reports.

A strained hamstring has kept Urshela out for the entirety of August. He looked healthy in a rehab game Sunday, going 3-for-4 with a double, and it doesn't look as though he'll need to do much more to convince the Yankees he's ready to return.

Castro was optioned to Double-A Altoona on Monday.

Castro has been a regular starter at second base for the Pirates over the past month, but he has a .552 OPS since being promoted in late July and will head back to Double-A. The 22-year-old may need to finish the minor-league campaign strong with Altoona to have another chance at seeing playing time down the stretch for Pittsburgh.

Duffy isn't starting Monday against Colorado.

Duffy drew starts in each of the last four contests but went just 1-for-10 with an RBI and four strikeouts across his last three appearances. Andrew Romine will start at shortstop and bat eighth.

Rivera went 2-for-4 with a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 9-1 win over the Cubs.

The third baseman has hit .250 in 15 games since he was activated from the injured list Aug. 4. Only two of his 13 hits in that span (one home run, one double) have gone for extra bases. Rivera's stolen base Sunday was also his first of the year. The 25-year-old could still see the occasional day off when Hunter Dozier shifts from right field to third base.

McMahon went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk and two RBI in Sunday's 8-4 loss to the Diamondbacks.

McMahon plated three runs combined over his previous 13 games, but he nearly matched that total in two at-bats Sunday. He plated the contest's first run on his career-high 23rd double of the season in the bottom of the first, then produced a run-scoring single in the bottom of the eighth. Though McMahon has supplied only two home runs and 16 RBI thus far in the second half, he hasn't been a total zero for fantasy managers since the All-Star break thanks to a .299 average and .395 on-base average.

Davis went 2-for-3 with a home run, two runs, four RBI, a walk and a HBP in the Mets' 7-2 win over the Dodgers on Sunday.

Davis singled home a run and scored in the first inning, was hit by a pitch in the sixth, cranked a two-run homer in the seventh and walked with the bases loaded in the ninth. The third baseman has enjoyed a hot August, slashing .300/.405/.433, though the long ball was only his first of the month. Davis is making the case for regular playing time even after Francisco Lindor returns, but he'll have to compete with Javier Baez, Jeff McNeil and Jonathan Villar in a crowded infield.
