Moncada went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and a double in Thursday's win over the Rangers.

In his return from the injured list due to a hamstring injury, Moncada batted cleanup and hit his 21st homer of the season, this time off Ariel Jurado in the third inning. The 24-year-old, who was out since July 31 with a strained right hamstring, also doubled in the fifth. Over 98 games this season, Moncada is slugging .303/.359/.545 with 22 doubles and 61 RBI.

Burger (Achilles) is hoping to be able to play in the instructional league this fall, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.

He originally had been targeting making it back before the end of the AZL season, but that no longer seems realistic. Burger has not played in a game since 2017 due to multiple Achilles injuries.

Moncada (hamstring) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list prior to Thursday's game against the Rangers.

As expected, Moncada is set to make his return for this four-game home series against Texas. He has been sidelined since July 30 with the hamstring injury. Moncada hit .409 with two home runs in five games during a rehab assignment. Ryan Goins will presumably move to a bench role.

Davis went 1-for-5 with a walkoff RBI single Wednesday in the Mets' 4-3 win over the Indians in 10 innings.

Davis started in left field for the second day in a row after a minor calf issue limited him to a bench role for the previous two games. He's come through with big hits in both of his first two games back in the lineup, slugging a two-run home run in Tuesday's win and providing the game-winning base knock in the series finale. With his health no longer a concern and his spot in the everyday lineup secure, Davis looks like a worthy roster option in most fantasy formats while he continues to rake.

Muncy went 1-for-3 with a walkoff home run, two walks and a stolen base Wednesday in the Dodgers' 2-1 win over the Blue Jays in 10 innings.

Muncy waited until his last plate appearance of the night to leave the yard for the fifth straight game, which represents a career-long streak and the longest active one in the majors. The 28-year-old made his stat line even more fantasy-friendly by nabbing his fourth steal of the season in the bottom of the eighth, but he'll continue to bring most of his value through his output in the power categories. Muncy gets a boost in leagues that substitute on-base percentage for batting average thanks to his massive 15.4 percent walk rate.

Moustakas went 1-for-1 with a three-run home run and walked in his other three plate appearances Wednesday in the Brewers' 5-3 win over the Cardinals.

His 31st long ball of the season staked the Brewers to a 4-0 lead after one inning, which proved to be all the support starter Adrian Houser and the relief crew would need in the rain-shortened victory. Moustakas has busted out of his second-half slide in a major way over his last four starts, going 7-for-16 with four home runs, a double, four walks and 11 RBI.

Longoria went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, a walk and another run scored in Wednesday's loss to the Cubs.

After launching a two-run home off starter Yu Darvish in the first inning, Longoria has now hit safely across nine consecutive games. Overall this season, the 33-year-old has tallied 16 home runs, 51 RBI and 48 runs scored while slashing .257/.323/.460.

Riley (knee) will begin a rehab assignment with Low-A Rome on Friday, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.

He is reportedly feeling strong and went through normal pregame activities Wednesday. Riley will begin his rehab assignment as the designated hitter, and is on track to rejoin the big club when rosters expand in September.

Anderson went 3-for-3 with a double and a walk Tuesday in the Marlins' 5-1 loss to the Braves.

Anderson has rebounded from a rough July in a major way, kicking off the current month with a 1.126 OPS in 18 games. He'll put a five-game hitting streak on the line when he returns to the lineup Wednesday as the Marlins' No. 3 batter.

Urshela recorded two base hits in four at-bats Tuesday in the Yankees' 6-2 loss to the Athletics.

After feasting on the Orioles a week ago, Urshela hasn't slowed down much while taking on the more competent Indians and Athletics pitching staffs. Over the last five contests, Urshela has gone 8-for-21 to lift his season-long batting average to .338.
