Yankees' Carlos Narvaez: Recalled from Triple-A
The Yankees recalled Narvaez from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Saturday.
With Jose Trevino (quad) headed to the injured list, Narvaez will rejoin the big-league roster in order to provide additional depth behind the plate. The 25-year-old backstop has slashed .269/.386/.443 with nine homers and 47 RBI across 308 plate appearances in Triple-A, and he'll be making his MLB debut whenever he appears in a game.

Yankees' Jose Trevino: Lands on injured list
The Yankees placed Trevino on the 10-day injured list Saturday with a left quad strain.
Trevino hurt his quad while running to home plate in the ninth inning of Friday's contest, and he'll now be out until at least July 23 as a result. Carlos Narvaez will come up from Triple-A to fill in as Austin Wells' backup at catcher.

Rogers isn't in the Tigers' lineup for Saturday's game against the Dodgers, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.
Rogers will take a seat against Justin Wrobleski and the Dodgers on Saturday after going 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in Friday's series opener. Carson Kelly will get the nod behind the plate and bat sixth.

Mariners' Cal Raleigh: Crushes 20th homer
Raleigh went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and a walk in Friday's loss to the Angels.
The Mariners catcher slugged a monstrous 423-foot, two-run homer off Tyler Anderson in the third inning. Raleigh has been on a tear lately, hitting five homers over his past four games while batting .471 (8-for-17). He leads all catchers in homers with 20. Overall, the 27-year-old is now slashing .218/.303/.443 with 61 RBI and 40 runs scored across 350 plate appearances.

Yankees' Jose Trevino: Injures quad Friday
Trevino suffered a quadriceps injury during Friday's win over the Orioles, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
Trevino was replaced behind the dish in the ninth inning after scoring a run in the top of the frame, and he was later seen limping out of the dugout during a bench-clearing scrum between the two teams. He's slated to undergo an evaluation Saturday, at which point the Yankees will have a better idea of how much time -- if any -- the 31-year-old backstop will miss.

Perez was removed from Friday's game against the Red Sox due to cramping.
The Royals didn't specify where exactly Perez was hurting, but he was apparently in enough discomfort to warrant his removal in the eighth inning. His status for Saturday's contest is unclear, though it's possible he receives a day off in order to manage the issue.

Jansen isn't in Toronto's lineup for Friday's game against the Diamondbacks.
Jansen will get a breather during Friday's series opener after going 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Thursday's win over the Giants. Alejandro Kirk will get the nod at catcher and bat sixth.
