Ramirez is expected to be called up from Triple-A Jacksonville on Monday, Craig Mish of the Miami Herald reports.

Ramirez will make his major-league debut Monday versus the Reds, joining the Marlins roster after batting .258 with three home runs, 12 RBI, 11 runs scored and five stolen bases over 66 at-bats in 18 games at Triple-A. Manager Carlos Mendoza said Sunday that Alvarez (hand) is scheduled to continue his minor-league rehab assignment this week, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

The skipper previously indicated that Alvarez could be back during the current homestand, which ends Wednesday, but it appears the 23-year-old backstop will be on the shelf for at least a few more days. Alvarez has gone 6-for-27 with a walk and three homers across seven rehab games in the minors, and he's still on track to make his season debut for the Mets before the end of April.

Ruiz is not in the lineup for the first game of Sunday's doubleheader against the Rockies, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

The 26-year-old was never likely to start both games of the twin bill and will take a seat for the matinee. Ruiz has gone 1-for-13 over his past three games but has a .791 OPS for the season, and he should be back behind the plate for Sunday's nightcap.

Murphy has just one hit with seven strikeouts in his past 16 plate appearances, and he'll receive Sunday off after a run of seven straight starts. Drake Baldwin will take over behind the plate for Atlanta in the series finale versus Minnesota.
