Rortvedt (knee) went 0-for-2 with a walk in a rehab appearance with High-A Hudson Valley on Tuesday.

This was technically Rortvedt's third rehab game this season, but it was his first since he picked up a knee injury May 8. The backstop underwent arthroscopic surgery for that issue, which came on the heels of an oblique strain that caused him to miss all of spring training and the first month of the regular season. Rortvedt could work his way up to the majors at some point if he performs well while rehabbing, but he'll likely need an extended minor-league assignment considering the amount of time he has missed.

Bart is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Since getting called up from Triple-A Sacramento on July 6 to replace the injured Curt Casali (oblique), Bart has worked ahead of Austin Wynns as the Giants' No. 1 catcher. Bart has gone a collective 4-for-17 with a home run, a double and two walks while starting in six of the past seven games, and he likely strengthened his grip on the top job by producing his first multi-hit effort with the Giants since April 29 in Tuesday's 13-0 win. With the Giants and Diamondbacks wrapping up their series Wednesday with a day game after a night game, Bart will be receiving some routine maintenance.

Knizner went 3-for-4 with three RBI in Tuesday's 7-6 win over the Dodgers.

Knizner hit RBI singles in the second, fourth and eighth innings, with the last of those three knocks providing the margin of victory. The catcher hadn't posted a multi-hit game since May 22, and this was his second three-hit effort of the season. He's gone 5-for-21 (.238) in July and owns a .197/.288/.246 slash line with a home run, 16 RBI, 10 runs scored and four doubles in 55 contests overall.

Sanchez isn't starting Wednesday's game against the Brewers.

Sanchez has gone 1-for-7 with a two-run homer, a walk and two strikeouts over the last two games and will take a seat for the fourth time in the last six matchups. Byron Buxton is serving as the designated hitter while Gilberto Celestino starts in center field.

D'Arnaud is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's series finale against the Mets.

D'Arnaud will get a day off Wednesday after he went 1-for-7 with a run scored in the first two contests of the series. William Contreras will take over behind the plate and bat fifth against the Mets.

Murphy went 4-for-5 with two doubles, a walk, two runs and two RBI during a 14-7 victory over Texas on Tuesday.

Murphy singled in the first and 10th, was intentionally walked in the 12th and doubled in the third and eighth to reach base an impressive five times; his previous season best was three. The 27-year-old has enjoyed a scorching start to July with a .385/.409/.590 slash line through 10 games, though Tuesday's walk was his first since June 23.

Bart went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 13-0 win over the Diamondbacks.

Bart went yard in the second inning and added a single in the eighth for his first multi-hit effort since April 29. The catcher has gone 4-for-17 (.235) in six contests since he was called up to replace Curt Casali (oblique) on the active roster. Bart owns a .168/.299/.327 slash line with five homers, 10 RBI, 15 runs scored, a stolen base and two doubles in 127 plate appearances, but he's still managed steady playing time in his second stint in the majors this year.

Heim was unavailable for Tuesday's 12-inning loss to the Athletics due to an illness, Jeff Wilson of RangersToday.com reports.

Heim likely would have made an appearance off the bench Tuesday if available given the length of the contest, but he was off limits due to the ailment. It's unclear if the 27-year-old will be cleared to play in Wednesday's series finale.

Jeffers is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Brewers, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.

Gary Sanchez will form a battery with starting pitcher Josh Winder while Jeffers gets a breather. Jeffers was behind the plate for three of the Twins' last four games and went 6-for-13 with two home runs, a double, five RBI and three runs over that stretch.

Diaz is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Padres, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

Diaz and Brian Serven appear to have settled into a timeshare behind the plate. The two have alternated starts at catcher in every game over the past week, entering the lineup on four occasions apiece.
