Trevino was scratched from Sunday's lineup against the Cubs.

This may just be a case of a catcher getting the day game off after Trevino started Saturday night's contest. Kyle Higashioka will start behind the dish and hit eighth.

Haase went 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI triple and a run scored in Saturday's victory over Toronto.

Haase had arguably his best game of the season Saturday against the Jays, sending Javier Baez home on a triple and later scoring on a Victor Reyes single. It's been a disappointing season for the catcher, but he now has at least one hit in three of five June games and has raised his batting average to .186.

D'Arnaud will sit for the second straight game Sunday against the Pirates.

D'Arnaud missed a pair of games early this season with forearm soreness, but he returned to start both Thursday and Friday before being on the bench for both weekend contests. It's possible his absence is due to a recurrence of the injury, but it's also possible it's simply a routine rotation of Atlanta's two backstops. William Contreras remains the starter behind the plate Sunday.

Smith went 3-for-5 with a run in a loss to San Francisco on Saturday.

Smith was the only player in the contest to collect three base knocks, and he scored the Dodgers' first run of the game in the eighth inning. The catcher extended his hitting streak to seven games with the performance. During the streak, Smith is slashing .370/.393/.630 with two homers, three RBI and four runs.

Trevino went 3-for-4 with a solo home run in an 8-0 victory against the Cubs on Saturday.

The Yankees hounded Cubs rookie starter Matt Swarmer with six solo homers in the win, and Trevino was responsible for one of those with his blast to left field in the fifth inning. The backstop was the only player to collect three hits in the contest, marking his fourth multi-hit performance over his past nine games. Over that stretch, Trevino is slashing a robust .520/.556/.960 with three homers, eight RBI and seven runs.

Bethancourt went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run, an RBI single and an additional run scored in Saturday's victory over the Guardians.

Bethancourt kicked off Saturday's game with an RBI single that sent Tony Kemp home. The first baseman later scored on a Seth Brown homer and picked up a solo shot of his own in the top of the ninth inning. Bethancourt went homerless through May, but he has three since the start of June. He's certainly picked things up this month with a hit in five of his last seven games to the tune of a .391 June batting average.

Realmuto went 0-for-3 with a steal in Saturday's victory over Arizona.

Although Realmuto went hitless Saturday, he was able to reach base on a walk and swipe his sixth bag of the year. The veteran catcher has seen his batting average drop over his last six games as he's gone hitless in four of them. He's slashing just .238/.315/.360 on the season, which is certainly not what the Phillies or fantasy managers were expecting from him this season.

Casali is dealing with a hamstring injury, though it hasn't prevented him from playing, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

While Casali is banged up, the issue isn't expected to send him to the injured list. It may decrease his short-term fantasy value, however, something that wasn't particularly large to begin with given his uninspiring .227/.296/.398 slash line.

Fortes went 0-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Astros.

Fortes got aboard on an error and stole second in the second inning. Speed typically isn't a big component of a catcher's game -- this was Fortes' first steal in six contests this season, and he's never had more than six in a season in the minors. The 25-year-old has been limited to 24 plate appearances, but he's racked up seven hits, including two home runs, six RBI and 10 runs scored through six contests this season. Continued success at the plate could see Fortes begin to chip away at Jacob Stallings' playing time.

Zavala is traveling to Chicago on Saturday and is expected to join the active roster ahead of Sunday's game against the Rangers, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Zavala was outrighted off the roster prior to Opening Day, but he'll be needed again with Yasmani Grandal (hamstring) unavailable for at least Sunday's contest. If Grandal's injury sends him to the injured list, Zavala will be his direct replacement on the roster, but the White Sox still intend to call up Zavala temporarily even if Grandal only has to miss a day or two, as the team doesn't want to go into a game with Reese McGuire as the only healthy catcher.
