Sanchez was removed from Tuesday's game against the Rangers with left hamstring cramps.

The 28-year-old went 1-for-3 with a double, an RBI and a run before being replaced behind the plate for the bottom of the sixth inning. It appears to be a minor injury, though that doesn't necessarily mean Sanchez will be back in the lineup Wednesday.

Grullon was designated for assignment by the Mets on Tuesday, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Catcher is just about the only position on the Mets' roster that hasn't been hit hard by injuries, so the team will remove Grullon from the 40-man roster in order to clear a spot for infielder Wilfredo Tovar. Grullon has already been designated for assignment by the Reds and Rays this season, so he'll be hoping to get picked up by his fourth organization of the year.

Garver (knee) is not starting Tuesday against the White Sox but is unlikely to go on the injured list, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.

A right knee contusion took Garver out of Monday's blowout loss, but it appears to be nothing more than a minor injury for the Minnesota catcher. Garver has struggled with just eight hits and four RBI since the start of May.

Narvaez will sit Tuesday against the Royals, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Narvaez has swung a very hot bat this season, bouncing back from a .563 OPS last season to post a .965 OPS through his first 26 games. He'll get a rest Tuesday, with Manny Pina taking over behind the plate.

McCann will remain on the bench Tuesday against Atlanta.

Tuesday's game marks the first time this season that McCann has been on the bench for back-to-back games. He doesn't appear to be dealing with an injury, so his loss of playing time could be performance-related, as he's hitting a miserable .208/.269/.250 on the year. Tomas Nido remains the starter behind the plate in his absence.

Stallings (quadriceps) will sit Tuesday against the Cardinals.

Stallings left Sunday's game against the Giants with a bruised left quadriceps after getting hit by a foul ball and is evidently not yet ready to go following Monday's off day. Michael Perez starts behind the plate in his absence.

Trevino is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Yankees.

Trevino receives the day off after going 1-for-3 with an RBI on Monday against the Yankees. Jonah Heim gets the start at catcher and will bat ninth.

Realmuto (wrist) remains on the bench for Tuesday's game against the Marlins, Matt Breen of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Realmuto has been banged up lately, dealing with a bruised knee and an illness last week before injuring his left wrist Saturday. He didn't appear in Sunday's game against the Blue Jays and is evidently still not yet ready to go following Monday's off day. Andrew Knapp (side) will return to the lineup in his absence. The Phillies made several moves Tuesday that did not involve placing Realmuto on the injured list, which seemingly suggests they expect him back soon.

Mejia will sit Tuesday against the Orioles, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Mejia returned from an intercostal strain Sunday and started right away, but he won't be in the lineup on an everyday basis. He and Mike Zunino split time behind the plate fairly evenly prior to Mejia's injury and will continue to do so going forward.

Nido went 3-for-4 with a double and two runs scored Tuesday in the Mets' 3-1 win over Atlanta.

Valued mainly for his work as a game caller behind the dish, Nido came through with a rare big day at the plate for a Mets offense missing several key contributors due to injury. The three-hit outing was the first of Nido's career, but he's unlikely to be rewarded with an uptick in starts so long as No. 1 backstop James McCann is available. McCann had started eight of the previous nine games before getting a much-needed breather Monday.
