Mejia went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's win against the Reds.

Mejia clanged a Trevor Bauer cutter off the right-field foul pole in the fourth inning for his seventh homer of the season. The 23-year-old has seized the starting catcher position in San Diego with a scorching August in which he has slashed .444/.468/.733 with three long balls and 10 runs scored through 14 games.

Murphy (knee) is 3-for-10 with a double in three rehab games with the Athletics' Arizona League squad.

Murphy appears to be in the latter stages of working back from a partial recurrence of a knee injury that originally sidelined him in early May. The 24-year-old backstop was able to work up to a full game behind the dish in his latest rehab game Monday night, so he could be back with the Aviators in the coming days.

Trevino went 1-for-4 with a walk, a solo home run and a second run scored in Monday's 8-7 win over the Angels.

Trevino hit his first home run as a major-league player in the fourth inning, his first extra-base hit since being called up at the beginning of the month. He's slowly taken over the primary catching role for the Rangers, but his .607 OPS at Triple-A and career .507 OPS in the majors do not bode well for his fantasy prospects.

Murphy went 3-for-3 with four RBI and two home runs in a 9-3 win over the Rays on Monday.

Murphy blasted a three-run home run in the first inning and added a solo shot in the fifth frame. It has been an impressive week for Murphy, hitting five home runs in the last three games. The 28-year-old now has 15 home runs and a .296/.328/.609 slash line this season.

Collins was named the International League Player of the Week, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. The 24-year-old catcher/first baseman hit .458 with four home runs, three doubles, nine RBI and eight runs scored in seven game for Triple-A Charlotte.

Collins has been hitting a ton since a lackluster introduction to the majors (2-for-26) during a three-week stretch from June to July. He's slashing .375/.470/.698 with seven home runs, 10 doubles and 29 RBI over 27 games since he was sent back to the Knights. The White Sox want Collins, who has a 16.9 BB% in the minors, to be more aggressive at the plate. It looks like that lesson has finally taken root, as he dropped his walk rate to 14.5 BB% over the last month. "Taking pitches just for the sake of taking pitches is not a formula for success," White Sox manager Rick Renteria said. "The approach that you have to take is strike-to-ball as oppose to ball-to-strike. If you're trying to wait to recognize a strike, it's a little tough. You have to be ready to strike and recognize and check your swing for balls that are not manageable. He understood that and took it to heart."

Garver is not in the lineup Monday against the White Sox, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

Garver is hitting just .175 with three home runs and a .683 OPS through 10 games this month. As such, he'll sit for a second straight game in favor of Jason Castro.

Thaiss is not in Monday's lineup against the Rangers.

He went 3-for-4 with a homer, a double and four RBI in Sunday's game against the White Sox. Thaiss is now hitting .265 with one home run and 15 strikeouts in 14 games this month. David Fletcher starts at third base in his stead.

Narvaez is not starting Monday against the Rays, Shannon Drayer of 710 ESPN Seattle reports.

Narvaez will give way to Tom Murphy behind the dish for a second straight game with another lefty in Brendan McKay starting for the opposition.

Stallings is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Nationals.

Stallings battled a migraine early last week but returned to start two of the Pirates' three games against the Cubs, including Sunday's 7-1 loss in the MLB Little League Classic in Williamsport, Pa. Though Stallings appears to have secured the top spot on the Pirates' depth chart at catcher, he'll cede a turn behind the plate to Elias Diaz in the series opener.

Nido went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and two runs Sunday in the Mets' 11-5 win over the Royals.

Nido's first double of the game came in the seventh inning and ended an 0-for-24 stretch for the backup catcher. While his performance in the series finale was an encouraging step forward, Nido isn't expected to eat into Wilson Ramos' playing time very much while the Mets remain in the hunt for a wild-card spot.
