Royals C Salvador Perez collects two hits in Tuesday's win
Royals catcher Salvador Perez went 2 for 4 at the plate to help lead the Royals to a 2-0 win over the Twins on Tuesday.
His biggest hit came in the ninth inning when he hit his ninth home run of the season off Boyer for his only RBI of the game. Prior to his two-hit game Tuesday, Perez was hitting .162 with three home runs and three RBI in his last 11 games.

Indians catcher Yan Gomes belted his first two home runs of the season Tuesday, but the Indians lost 3-2 to the Mariners.
Gomes hit the solo shots off Roenis Elias in the second inning and Carson Smith in the ninth inning. He finished the game 2 for 4 with two RBI. Prior to his two home runs Tuesday, Gomes was hitting .320 with no home runs or RBI in his last six games.

Catcher Travis d'Arnaud has finished his rehab assignment and is on his way to New York to be activated on Wednesday, according to ESPN.com. d'Arnaud has been on the disabled list with a finger/hand injury since the middle of April.
d'Arnaud, he caught six innings in his final rehab game on Tuesday and went 0 for 3 at the plate. He finished 7 for 24 in his seven minor-league games.
The young catcher will be returning to a .317 batting average and two home runs in 41 at-bats.

Mets catcher Kevin Plawecki was scratched from the starting lineup Tuesday against the Giants due to dizziness. Anthony Recker replaced him in the starting lineup.
Plawecki is batting just .191 (9 for 47) with two doubles, three RBI and 17 strikeouts in his last 15 games.

Reds' Devin Mesoraco goes hitless in rehab start
Reds catcher/outfielder Devin Mesoraco went 0 for 3 with a strikeout in a rehab start with Triple-A Louisville on Monday.
It wasn't the result Mesoraco was hoping for in the first game of his rehab assignment. Mesoraco has been recovering from a hip injury that has sidelined him for a good chunk of the season.
He was replaced by Yorman Rodriguez before he had the chance to make a fourth plate appearance.
Mesoraco is slated for at least two or three more rehab games before coming back to the Reds. This season, he's hit .178/.275/.244 with two RBI in 45 at-bats.

Mets C Travis d'Arnaud, 2B Dilson Herrera to return Wednesday
Catcher Travis d'Arnaud and second baseman Dilson Herrera are destined to return to the Mets on Wednesday barring a setback Monday in their rehab games with Triple-A Las Vegas, per the New York Post.
d'Arnaud has been sidelined since April 19 with hand and wrist injuries. Herrera has been down for three weeks with a finger issue.

Royals catcher Salvador Perez went 1 for 4 with a solo home run in his team's 4-3 win over the Rangers on Sunday.
Perez's homer was a big one, as the eighth-inning blast broke a 3-3 tie and kept the Royals from being swept at home by the Rangers. He has hit .277/.286/.452 with eight homers and 27 RBI in 188 at-bats.

Stewart has been catching Sunday starter Gerrit Cole for the last few turns through the rotation and will do so again on Sunday. Cole owns a 1.33 ERA and 54:8 K:BB ratio in seven starts with Stewart as his catcher, while he has posted a 3.04 ERA and 25:8 K:BB ratio in four starts with Cervelli behind the plate.

Reds catcher Devin Mesoraco (hip) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Louisville in Columbus on Monday, the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Mesoraco, who said he feels great, will man left field during the rehab assignment in preparation for a new role with the Reds. Manager Bryan Price thinks Mesoraco will need three or four games with Louisville before being activated from the disabled list.
Mesoraco has hit .178/.275/.244 with two RBI in 45 at-bats.
