Bo Naylor C | CLE
Guardians' Bo Naylor: Absent from starting nine
Naylor is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the White Sox.
After catching two straight games, Naylor will yield to Austin Hedges behind the dish Tuesday. In his last eight games, Naylor is 11-for-29 (.379) with a home run and five doubles.

Keibert Ruiz C | WAS
Nationals' Keibert Ruiz: Three hits in Monday's loss
Ruiz went 3-for-5 with an RBI in Monday's extra-inning loss to the Mets.
It was the backstop's first three-hit performance since March 30, but his third multi-hit effort in his last five starts. Ruiz is showing signs of life at the plate, and over his last 11 games he's batting .289 (11-for-38) with three doubles.

Luis Campusano C | SD
Padres' Luis Campusano: Starts rehab assignment
Campusano (thumb) went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in his first rehab game with Single-A Lake Elsinore on Monday.
Campusano has missed just over a week of action with a thumb injury, so he shouldn't need too many rehab at-bats before being activated. Kyle Higashioka is coming off an eight-homer June, so it's possible Campusano -- who has just a .588 OPS since May 1 -- will play second fiddle at catcher for the Padres upon his activation.

William Contreras C | MIL
Brewers' William Contreras: Cracks 10th homer
Contreras went 3-for-5 with a solo homer, a double and two runs scored in Monday's loss at Colorado.
The 26-year-old drew the start at designated hitter and reached double-digit homers for the third consecutive season with a solo shot off Austin Gomber. Contreras also collected his team-leading 20th double of the season. Overall, the Milwaukee star is now slashing .296/.355/.451 with 51 RBI and 59 runs scored across 369 plate appearances.

Tyler Stephenson C | CIN
Reds' Tyler Stephenson: Transferred to emergency list
The Reds transferred Stephenson (personal) from the paternity list to the family medical emergency list Monday.
Stephenson had been away for the last three games while on the paternity list. By rule, players can miss 3-to-7 days while on the family medical emergency list, whereas he would have to be activated ahead of Tuesday's game against the Yankees had he remained on the paternity list. Luke Maile and Austin Wynns will handle catching duties for Cincinnati while Stephenson is away.

Alejandro Kirk C | TOR
Blue Jays' Alejandro Kirk: Getting start Monday sans Jansen
Kirk will start at catcher and bat eighth in Monday's game against the Astros.
Kirk should be in store for at least two starts in the four-game series with the Astros while top backstop Danny Jansen likely misses the maximum three games after being placed on the paternity list Monday. Even though Jansen remains atop the depth chart, Kirk had been making a case for more playing time by going 4-for-12 with two doubles, two RBI and a run over his last three starts.

Henry Davis RF | PIT
Pirates' Henry Davis: Rehab assignment put on pause
Davis had his rehab assignment with Double-A Altoona put on hold over the weekend after he experienced recurring concussion symptoms, Alex Stumpf of MLB.com reports.
Initially placed on the 7-day injured list June 15 after experiencing concussion-like symptoms a day earlier in the Pirates' win over the Rockies, Davis was cleared to begin his rehab assignment last Wednesday. However, after appearing in two games with Altoona, Davis suffered an apparent setback and is now without a clear timeline to resume the assignment. With Joey Bart beating Davis back from the 10-day IL on Sunday, the Pirates may not have room for Davis on the big-league roster once his concussion symptoms subside and he's cleared to return from the 7-day IL.

Jose Herrera C | TEX
Diamondbacks' Jose Herrera: Staying with D-backs
Herrera will become Arizona's backup catcher after the team designated Tucker Barnhart for assignment Sunday, Arizona Sports reports.
Herrera will serve as the backup to Gabriel Moreno (thumb), who is expected to be activated ahead of Tuesday's series opener against the Dodgers. Herrera has not been impactful on offense over parts of three seasons with the Diamondbacks, posting a combined OPS of .497.
