Rodriguez went 1-for-9 with an RBI and a run over the first two games of the series in Atlanta, and he'll take a seat for the finale. Jason Delay will step in behind the plate and bat ninth.

Contreras is out of the lineup for Sunday's game at Cincinnati.

Jeffers is out of the lineup Sunday against the Mets.

Christian Vazquez will start at catcher and bat seventh for the Twins. Jeffers went 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in Saturday's win over New York and is sitting on a strong .831 OPS with 10 home runs through 84 games (285 plate appearances) on the year.
