Christian Yelich LF | MIL
Brewers' Christian Yelich: Homers in nightcap
Yelich went 1-for-7 with a solo home run and a pair of walks in Wednesday's doubleheader split with the Mets.
Yelich got the Brewers on the board in the nightcap with an opposite-field homer off Blade Tidwell, his 17th this season. The 33-year-old Yelich has been on a tear of late, going 22-for-58 (.379) with four homers and 19 RBI in his last 14 contests. Overall, he's slashing .259/.337/.460 with a team-high 61 RBI, 43 runs scored and 12 stolen bases through 347 plate appearances this year.

Austin Hays LF | CHW
Reds' Austin Hays: Plays field Wednesday
Hays started in left field and went 1-for-5 in the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader against Boston. He went 0-for-4 as the DH in the first game, a completion of Tuesday's suspended contest.
Wednesday's regularly scheduled meeting between the two clubs was the first time Hays played the field since being activated off the injured list in late June. He'd missed nearly a month with a foot injury but appears ready to handle whatever role manager Terry Francona has planned for him.

Josh Bell DH | MIN
Nationals' Josh Bell: Drives in three in nightcap
Bell went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBI in the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Tigers.
Bell was productive throughout the contest, driving in runs in the first, third and eighth innings. Over his past 10 games, the 32-year-old has hit safely seven times while collecting four extra-base hits and 10 RBI. For the season, he's slashing just .204/.292/.365 with 11 home runs, 35 RBI and 26 runs scored across 288 plate appearances.

Josh Bell DH | MIN
Nationals' Josh Bell: Sitting for first game of twin bill
Bell is out of the lineup for the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader versus the Tigers.
The switch-hitting Bell will open the first game of the twin bill on the bench while the Tigers send lefty Tyler Holton to begin the contest. Bell has been far more productive against righties (92 wRC+ in 229 plate appearance) than lefties (26 wRC+ in 53 plate appearances) this season, so the Nationals could look to use him as more of a platoon player moving forward.

Marcell Ozuna DH | PIT
Braves' Marcell Ozuna: Expected to play Wednesday
Atlanta manager Brian Snitker said that Ozuna dealt with cramping during Tuesday's game versus the Angels but should be back in the lineup Wednesday, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
Ozuna was not removed from Tuesday's contest despite looking uncomfortable, and it appears he will be back in there Wednesday for the second game of the series. He's dealt with a nagging hip issue, as well, and while Ozuna has started every game since April 18, he's slashed just .181/.254/.276 since the beginning of June.

Rafael Devers 3B | SF
Giants' Rafael Devers: Doubles in loss
Devers went 1-for-4 with a double in Tuesday's 8-2 loss to the Diamondbacks.
Devers lined a double to right field in the third inning after going hitless in the club's previous three games. The 28-year-old has experienced a dip in production over 14 games since being traded to San Francisco, slashing .204/.306/.370 with five RBI, four runs scored, three doubles, two home runs and an 8:23 BB:K in 62 plate appearances. Overall, he has a .261/.386/.482 slash line with 63 RBI, 51 runs scored, 17 homers and one stolen base across 396 plate appearances between Boston and San Francisco.

Shohei Ohtani DH | LAD
Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani: Reaches 30-homer mark
Ohtani went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 6-1 win over the White Sox.
Ohtani went yard in the fourth inning, collecting his 30th homer of the season in the process. The slugger has turned the power back on lately, swatting five homers with 11 RBI over his last eight games. For the season, he's produced a .287/.387/.637 slash line with 55 RBI, 83 runs scored, 11 stolen bases, 12 doubles and seven triples across 84 games.

Randal Grichuk RF | KC
Diamondbacks' Randal Grichuk: Smacks fourth homer
Grichuk went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a double in Tuesday's 8-2 win over the Giants.
Grichuk didn't homer at all in June, going just 9-for-50 (.180) over 17 games. The outfielder ended that power drought with a solo shot to pad the Diamondbacks' lead in the sixth inning of this contest. For the year, he's batting .246 with a .721 OPS, four homers, 16 RBI, 21 runs scored, 11 doubles and one triple across 146 plate appearances. Grichuk has been pressed into some extra playing time recently while Arizona's primary designated hitter, Pavin Smith, has had to cover for Josh Naylor (undisclosed) at first base. Once Naylor is healthy again, Grichuk will likely return to a short-side platoon role, as Jake McCarthy has stepped up in right field in the absence of Corbin Carroll (wrist).

Seiya Suzuki RF | CHC
Cubs' Seiya Suzuki: Blasts 23rd home run
Suzuki went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Guardians.
Suzuki has been in a nice power groove recently, as he now has five home runs in his last nine games. For the season, the slugging outfielder has 23 long balls, which is a new career best, surpassing the 21 he hit in 2024. Suzuki is now sixth in the majors in home runs, while he's also second in the majors with 70 RBI. The 30-year-old remains a productive and consistent fantasy asset, reaching the 20-homer plateau the last three years.

Shohei Ohtani DH | LAD
Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani: Set to pitch again Saturday
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts clarified that Ohtani will make his next start as a pitcher Saturday against Houston, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.
Roberts seemed to suggest earlier Tuesday that Ohtani was in line to pitch in Sunday's series finale, but the skipper circled back and noted that the right-hander would be taking the hill Saturday. After tossing two innings and 27 pitches in his most recent start as a pitcher last weekend against the Royals, Ohtani will presumably be capped at around three or four innings as the Dodgers continue to build him up slowly in his return from his October 2023 Tommy John surgery. Justin Wrobleski is expected to work in bulk relief behind Ohtani on Saturday.
