Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper was wearing a knee brace when he arrived in Washington Monday, according to The Washington Post. 

Harper had his knee checked out earlier that day by Dr. James Andrews. Harper later tweeted "all good," perhaps referring to the injury. One source familiar with the visit said the injury would "not lead to long-term damage." The team has yet to make an announcement about Harper's status. 

He was hitting .287/.386/.587 in 150 at-bats before the injury.

Harper tweeted a vague "all good" late Monday night but did not go into detail about his visit with Andrews. Harper admitted he should have gone on the disabled list after he ran into the wall April 30 at Atlanta. 

Harper is hitting .287/.386/.587 in 150 at-bats. 

Marlins outfielder Giancarlo Stanton returned from the disabled list Monday but was unable to lift the team's listless offense.

Stanton went 1 for 4 in a 6-1 loss. He struck out once in his first action since April 29. Stanton is hitting .228 with three home runs in 79 at-bats. 

Tigers third baseman Miguel Cabrera doesn't appear to be close to hammering out a contract extension with Detroit, the Detroit Free Press reports Monday. This is contrary to the report last week by ESPN that both sides were close. 

"No," Cabrera told FOX Sports Detroit. "There is nothing going on. I don’t know why he (ESPN's Jason Stark) would say that."

Cabrera entered Monday's game against the Royals hitting .363 with 17 homers and 67 RBI. 

Marlins slugger Giancarlo Stanton was activated from the DL on Monday, returning to a lineup that is markedly stronger than the one he left when he last played (on April 29). Logan Morrison has since been activated, and rookie Marcell Ozuna has been a big surprise -- hitting .331 with 13 doubles in 142 at-bats. 

Stanton, batting .227 with three home runs over 75 at-bats, should see at least a bit more protection from this new-look lineup and will eventually get a boost from the likely in-season improvements from youngsters Derek Dietrich, Adeiny Hechavarria, and Rob Brantly. But this is all just secondary to a motivated Stanton coming back strong -- he hit 71 total home runs the last two seasons and set career highs in 2012 with a .608 slugging percentage and .290 batting average. 

Stanton should be all systems go with this activation, and is a must-start in every format going forward.

Stanton has been on a rehab assignment at Class A Jupiter, and was 0 for 12 in four games. The team had to place Casey Kotchman on the disabled list to make room for Stanton. 

Prior to his injury, Stanton was hitting .227/.341/.387 in 75 at-bats this year. If he plays Monday, he would face Brewers ace Yovani Gallardo. 

Mariners infield prospect Brad Miller has been thriving since his promotion to Triple-A Tacoma. Miller has a .368/.422/.596/1.018 slash line through 13 games since being promoted from Double-A Jackson.

He also has one triple, two doubles, three home runs and 17 RBI for Tacoma. In 55 games, Miller is batting .314 with a .505 slugging percentage, two triples, nine doubles, nine home runs and 42 RBI.

Miller is considered the Mariners' sixth-best prospect by MLB.com.

Marlins manager Mike Redmond said outfielder Marcell Ozuna is expected to move to center field when right fielder Giancarlo Stanton (hamstring) comes off the disabled list. Stanton could be back in the lineup Monday.
