Padilla was recalled from Triple-A Charlotte by the White Sox on Tuesday.

Padilla will serve as the 27th man during Tuesday's doubleheader versus the Phillies. The 26-year-old has allowed just one run over his first 7.1 innings with Charlotte this season, although he has issued seven walks over that time.

Hentges (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment with Double-A Akron on Wednesday, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.

Hentges has been out all season with left shoulder inflammation but is ready to test things out in game action. If all goes well, the southpaw should be ready to slide back into a setup role for the Guardians before the end of the month.

Brieske (arm) will throw a bullpen session Wednesday, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.

It will be the first time he's thrown from the mound since he underwent a hydrodissection procedure to treat a nerve issue in his right arm. There remains no timetable for Brieske's return, but Wednesday's activity would certainly represent a step forward.

The Tigers recalled West from Triple-A Toledo ahead of Tuesday's doubleheader with the Guardians, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

Vest has been designated as the 27th man for the twin bill, so he'll most likely be headed back to the minors following the pair of games. The reliever has struggled in the early going with Toledo, posting a 10.29 ERA in his first six appearances.

The Guardians placed De Los Santos on the paternity leave list Tuesday, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.

De Los Santos can be away for up to three days as he deals with much more important matters. He holds a 1.35 ERA over seven relief appearances this season.

Pilkington has been designated as the 27th man for Tuesday's doubleheader with the Tigers, so he'll most likely be headed back to Columbus immediately after the twin bill. The left-hander has been starting at Columbus and will likely be in line to eat up some innings in relief Tuesday.

Beeks (0-1) took the loss Monday against the Reds, allowing one run on one hit and two walks over three innings. He struck out one.

Beeks got his second start of the season in the series opener with Cincinnati. Despite only working through three innings, the 29-year-old lefty was solid, and his only mistake came on Kevin Newman's solo shot in the second inning. Beeks owns a 3.00 ERA and 6:3 K:BB across nine innings this year, but with Taj Bradley being called up from Triple-A Durham, the left-hander will likely continue to rotate between spot starter and reliever for the foreseeable future.

Estevez earned the save Monday against the Red Sox, allowing one run on two hits while recording two strikeouts.

Estevez entered in the ninth inning and shut the door in a nail-biting finale to the series. The 30-year-old struck out Jarren Duran before giving up a run on a Rafael Devers RBI single; however, Estevez remained resilient and proceeded to strike out Rob Refsnyder before getting Masataka Yoshida to pop out to end the game. Estevez secured his second save of the season and owns a 2.57 ERA with nine strikeouts through seven innings this season.

Zimmermann (thumb) tossed five innings and struck out five while allowing three runs (two earned) on four hits and two walks in his most recent start for Triple-A Norfolk on Thursday.

Zimmermann ended up missing just one turn through the rotation on account of the right thumb injury he suffered in his season debut April 1. The southpaw possesses a spot on Baltimore's 40-man roster and could be a candidate to make spot starts for the big club as the season unfolds.

White (elbow) threw two innings of live batting practice Saturday at the Blue Jays' spring training complex in Florida, MLB.com reports.

As long as he bounces back with no issues, White will inch closer to beginning a rehab assignment. The right-hander had been slated for a bulk relief role with Toronto when he injured his elbow in late March. White is out of options, so he'll be part of the major-league club in some capacity once deemed ready.
