The Astros reinstated Pressly (knee) from the 10-day injured list Thursday, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

During his lone rehab appearance Tuesday with Triple-A Sugar Land, Pressly needed just six pitches to retire the side, and that was apparently enough evidence for the Astros to conclude that he's healthy again after missing three weeks with a right knee issue. Pressly's velocity has been down a few ticks in 2022 and he struggled to make bats miss over his first four appearances prior to landing on the IL, but he still converted three of his four save opportunities. Rafael Montero was sharp while serving as the Astros' primary closing option during Pressly's absence, but the latter's track record as one of the majors' top end gamers over the previous two seasons should be enough for him to reclaim the gig in his return from injury, even though hasn't been in top form yet in 2022.

Brash was optioned to Triple-A Tacoma on Thursday.

Brash hadn't pitched above the Double-A level prior to the 2022 season, but he entered the year with fairly lofty expectations after winning a spot on the Opening Day roster. He posted a 3.38 ERA and 1.22 WHIP while striking out 11 in 10.2 innings during his first two major-league starts but was much less effective recently. He was charged with losses in his last two starts after allowing 10 runs in five innings. The right-hander will attempt to sort things out in the minors, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him rejoin the big-league club some time later in the year, assuming he performs well in Tacoma.

Hall was promoted to Triple-A Norfolk on Thursday, Andy Kostka of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Hall began the season on the development list but has appeared at High-A Aberdeen and Double-A Bowie. Over his two starts early in 2022, he's posted a 2.35 ERA, 0.78 WHIP and 12:1 K:BB in 7.2 innings. The southpaw is one of the Orioles' top prospects and will now head to the Triple-A level for the first time.

Perez (1-0) allowed a hit and a walk with one strikeout in two scoreless innings, earning the win Wednesday versus the Twins.

Perez followed starter Kyle Bradish, who was limited to 70 pitches in four innings. Perez delivered the first two of five scoreless innings from the Orioles' bullpen to maintain the lead. The southpaw has yet to yield a run through 10 appearances this season, though he's also posted a 1.33 WHIP, 8:4 K:BB and two holds across nine innings.

Bolanos allowed three runs on four hits and three walks with one strikeout in 2.2 innings during Wednesday's 10-0 loss to the Cardinals.

Bolanos was assigned to mop-up duty in an impromptu bullpen game. He allowed a sacrifice fly to Paul DeJong and a two-run home run to Tyler O'Neill. Prior to Wednesday, Bolanos had covered 4.1 scoreless innings to begin the year, though he's been generous with baserunners in all three of his outings. The right-hander has given up eight hits and seven walks across seven innings in a multi-inning role, so he should consider himself lucky to have a 3.86 ERA.

Payamps allowed a run on two hits and a walk with one strikeout across 2.2 innings during Wednesday's 10-0 loss to the Cardinals.

Starter Kris Bubic recorded just one out in the first inning, leading to an early call to the bullpen. Payamps didn't have much luck either, allowing an RBI triple to Tyler O'Neill and a sacrifice fly to Harrison Bader, though only one run was charged to the reliever. Payamps has a 2.08 ERA despite a 1.50 WHIP and 6:3 K:BB through 8.2 innings. The right-hander often works in low-leverage assignments, and he won't see a more significant role as long as he's yielding so many baserunners.

Sandlin (2-1) walked two and struck out one in a scoreless inning to earn the win in Game 2 of Wednesday's doubleheader versus the Padres.

Sandlin had only one out with the bases loaded before getting Austin Nola to ground into a double play. Steven Kwan then hit a walkoff single in the bottom of the 10th. Sandlin hasn't often seen his control escape him as it did Wednesday, but he was able to get away with it this time. The reliever has a 4.15 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 6:4 K:BB across 8.2 innings.

Otto will start Friday's series opener against the Yankees in New York, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Heading into the week, Otto was initially lined up to start Tuesday in Philadelphia, but he ended up getting pushed back a few days in the pitching schedule after Jon Gray (knee) was cleared to return from the 10-day injured list. The Rangers had a pair of off days this week that will result in the team temporarily going with a four-man rotation, but Otto will be able to stick in a starting role over Taylor Hearn, who will be available out of the bullpen for the weekend series in New York. Otto will look to keep rolling against the Yankees after he struck out 10 while giving up three earned runs on six hits and three walks over 9.1 innings between his first two starts of the season.

Hearn will be available out of the bullpen for this weekend's three-game series against the Yankees before potentially slotting back into the rotation Tuesday or Wednesday versus Kansas City, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

With Jon Gray (knee) having made his return from the injured list and the Rangers getting two days off this week, the Rangers will temporarily run out a four-man rotation. Hearn finds himself as the odd man out for now, but assuming he isn't needed to cover a significant amount of innings this weekend, he should be ready to slot back into the rotation against the Royals. Through his five starts this season, Hearn has gone 1-2 with a 6.53 ERA and 1.84 WHIP across 20.2 innings.

Ortega pitched 2.1 scoreless innings against Boston on Wednesday, allowing one hit and striking out two. He did not factor in the decision.

Reid Detmers started for the Angels and completed 4.2 frames before Ortega was summoned with the Red Sox up a run in the fifth. The latter got Xander Bogaerts to ground out to end the inning, and he went on to pitch two more frames, allowing just a harmless single. This was the fifth time in nine outings this season during which Ortega has thrown at least two innings, and he hasn't allowed a run since his first appearance of the campaign. The right-hander has posted a 1.23 ERA, 0.89 WHIP and 10:6 K:BB across 14.2 frames, though he has limited value in fantasy since he has yet to pick up any holds or saves.
