Green (0-1) was tagged with the loss against Toronto on Wednesday as a result of giving up an unearned run in one inning. He did not allow any hits but issued one walk.

Green was solid in the relief outing, throwing 15 of 22 pitches for strikes and holding the Blue Jays without a hit. However, his walk of Alejandro Kirk to begin the seventh inning came back to bite him as a one-out error and a single after Green was relieved by Jonathan Loaisiga pushed Toronto into the lead. Green has been effective in three outings thus far, allowing only one hit and one walk over three scoreless frames on the season.

Law agreed with the Tigers on a minor-league contract Saturday, Jared Purcell of MLive.com reports.

Law spent the 2021 campaign in the Twins organization, appearing in nine games at the big-league level before finishing the season at Triple-A St. Paul and being outrighted off the 40-man roster in September. He then elected free agency in the offseason, missing all of spring training before signing with Detroit. Law will stick around at the Tigers' extended spring training facility in Florida to complete his buildup program before likely joining the team's Triple-A affiliate in Toledo later this month. The 31-year-old right-hander has covered 181.1 innings over parts of five seasons in the majors, accruing a 4.22 ERA and 1.44 WHIP.

Hendriks picked up the save Wednesday against the Mariners after giving up one run on two hits during the ninth inning. He struck out two and didn't record a walk.

For the second straight night, Hendricks came on with a multiple-run lead in the ninth and was able to lock down the victory despite allowing a run. The 33-year-old is off to a rocky start, as he's allowed multiple hits and given up at least one run in each of his first three outings, including a blown save during an Opening Day loss to the Tigers. Regardless, Hendriks still has plenty of job security after recording 38 saves and a 2.54 ERA for the White Sox last year, especially with Craig Kimbrel already shipped off to the Dodgers.

Romano gave up one hit and struck out one in a scoreless ninth inning Wednesday to collect his fourth save of the season in a 6-4 win over the Yankees.

Romano has now saved all four of Toronto's wins so far and appears set to join the ranks of elite closers after posting a 2.14 ERA with 23 holds last year. The 28-year-old has yet to walk a batter through four innings of work and has racked up four strikeouts.

Morgan (1-0) earned the win Wednesday versus the Reds. He allowed a run on one hit and no walks with four strikeouts in three innings.

Triston McKenzie started the game with four scoreless innings, and Morgan was effective in tandem behind the starter. Morgan's lone mistake was a solo home run he allowed to Reds outfielder Jake Fraley in the fifth inning. Through five innings this season, the right-hander has given up just one run and two hits while striking out five. He's providing quality innings, which positions him well to be a spot starter if the Guardians have an opening in the rotation for any reason; however, Logan Allen and Sam Hentges could also be in contention for fill-in duties.

Lopez (0-1) suffered the loss against Milwaukee on Wednesday, pitching two-thirds of an inning and allowing two runs on three hits and one walk while striking out one.

Lopez came into the contest in the ninth inning after Baltimore registered two runs in the bottom of the eighth to tie the score. The right-hander was unable to tame the Brewers' bats, however, giving up a single, double and triple along with a walk to take his first loss. Lopez has recorded the Orioles' only save this season and figures to still be among the team's primary ninth-inning options, but he has been far from dominant with four walks and four hits allowed over 2.1 frames.

Feyereisen struck out one and did not allow a baserunner in Wednesday's loss to the Athletics.

Feyereisen recorded the final two outs in the top of the ninth inning, and he struck out Cristian Pache on four pitches -- three of which were swinging strikes. Through 3.1 frames this season, Feyereisen has allowed only two baserunners and has yet to concede a run. It's possible that he'll occasionally see save opportunities, though he has only served a setup role early on.

Trivino earned the save against Tampa Bay on Wednesday by pitching a scoreless ninth inning during which he allowed one hit and one walk.

Trivino wasn't overpowering in the outing, as he threw only 10 of 18 pitches for strikes and didn't pick up any punchouts. He retired the first two hitters he faced but then found himself in trouble after yielding a single and a walk to the following two batters. However, the right-hander was able to escape with the save by getting Wander Franco to foul out to end the game. This was Trivino's third appearance of the season and the first in which he didn't allow any runs. His ability to convert the save Wednesday is a positive, but it doesn't mask the fact that he has looked shaky in the early part of the campaign.

Montero allowed one hit and struck out two in a scoreless inning Wednesday against the Diamondbacks.

Montero entered the game in the eighth inning with the score tied at one. He allowed a two-out single but was in relative control throughout the appearance. Montero has turned in three scoreless outings to begin the campaign, racking up five strikeouts and no walks while also earning a win and a hold.

Pressly (0-1) gave up two runs (one earned) on a hit and two walks in one-third of an inning in a 3-2 loss Wednesday in Arizona.

Pressly entered in the 10th with the Astros leading 2-1. The automatic runner was sacrificed to third and then driven in on a single by Seth Beer. Following two walks, Ketel Marte walked it off with a sacrifice fly that was misplayed by leftfielder Chas McCormick, preventing any chance of a play at the plate. Pressly had been a perfect 3-for-3 in save chances to start the season prior to Wednesday.
