Tate (0-2) allowed a run on a hit and a walk over two-thirds of an inning, taking the loss Thursday versus the White Sox.

Tate retired the first two batters he faced, but he put the next two aboard before he was pulled from the game. Tanner Scott then allowed an inherited runner to score what was the decisive run. This was Tate's first action after missing nearly three weeks with a strained left hamstring. The 27-year-old has allowed a run in each of his last four appearances. He has a 3.95 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 6:3 K:BB with two holds in 13.2 innings this season.

Zimmermann allowed a run on six hits and a walk with six strikeouts in five innings versus the White Sox on Thursday. He did not factor in the decision.

The southpaw left with the game tied 1-1 after a strong pitching duel with White Sox starter Dylan Cease. Zimmermann has given up one run in two of his last three outings, although a five-spot versus Washington came in between the two better efforts. The 26-year-old has a 5.15 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 36:13 K:BB across 43.2 innings. He lines up to face Minnesota next week.

Hearn allowed three runs on two hits and three walks while striking out three over 2.1 innings in Thursday's 5-0 loss to Seattle.

Hearn was needed for multiple relief innings in a piggyback situation for Kolby Allard, who was making a spot start. The Rangers grew concerned about Hearn's performance back in April, but the left-hander had turned it around nicely before Thursday's effort. He entered the contest with no earned runs allowed over the last 11.2 innings, which was partially attributed to cutting down on free passes. Hearn will continue to fill a multi-inning relief role, which has been an area of need due to starters unable to give the team length.

Martin allowed three hits and struck out two over 1.2 scoreless innings in Thursday's 5-0 loss to the Mariners.

Martin typically pitches in higher leverage spots than this, but Texas' bullpen has been worked hard due to short stints by starters. As such, whatever arm is available may need to pitch in any situation. Martin has not allowed an earned run over his last 8.2 innings, spanning 11 appearances. For the season, he has a 2.20 ERA and 1.53 WHIP over 16.1 innings.

Junis allowed a run on three hits and three walks with two strikeouts in 2.1 innings of Thursday's 7-2 loss to Tampa Bay.

Junis was able to end the third inning after an abbreviated start from Brady Singer. The 28-year-old Junis proceeded to labor through the fourth and fifth, allowing six baserunners in the relief appearance. After a stint in the rotation in April, the right-hander has worked out of the bullpen in his six of his last seven appearances. He's posted a 5.23 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 34:11 K:BB across 32.2 innings overall.

Shaw allowed a hit and a walk with one strikeout in a scoreless inning to earn a hold in Thursday's 5-2 win over Detroit.

Shaw handled the eighth inning and worked around a couple of baserunners to preserve Cleveland's lead. The 33-year-old remains a solid option out of the bullpen with a 1.35 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 23:14 K:BB across 20 innings. He's notched seven holds, a save and a win in 21 outings, although the closer job appears to be shared between James Karinchak and Emmanuel Clase.

Nelson was returned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre after the team's doubleheader Thursday.

Nelson was called up as bullpen depth and served as the 27th man for the Yankees on Thursday. However, he didn't make an appearance and will now return to a reliever role at the highest level of the minors.

Green pitched a scoreless seventh inning against the Blue Jays in the second game of Thursday's doubleheader to earn his second save of the season.

With Aroldis Chapman battling an illness, Green stepped in to nail down the win for New York. Manager Aaron Boone said he was hopeful that Chapman will be available Friday, so this window to earn saves may close quickly, but Green has near-universal appeal in fantasy regardless as a ratio stabilizer with upside as a closer in waiting.

Chapman has been unavailable the last two days due to illness, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

Manager Aaron Boone was hopeful that Chapman would be able to return Friday. He also noted that Chapman has tested negative for COVID-19, but that he may not fly with the team to Detroit out of precaution. Chad Green picked up a save in Chapman's place Thursday.

Romano pitched a perfect seventh inning Thursday while striking out one to record the save in the first game of a doubleheader against the Yankees.

Romano picked up the Blue Jays first save in nearly two weeks. He got the call over Rafael Dolis, who blew a save and took the loss on May 20 against Boston. After Thursday's outing, Romano has fired five scoreless innings on only one hit and one walk while striking out nine in his last five appearances. He has a 2.04 ERA and a 1.02 WHIP with 24 strikeouts in 17.2 innings.
