Pressly (knee) is on the Astros' World Series roster.

After leaving Game 6 of the ALCS with right knee discomfort, there was some uncertainty regarding Pressly's availability for the World Series. However, the 30-year-old should be available as Houston's setup man for the series against the Nationals after being included on the roster.

Abreu is not on the Astros' World Series roster, Jared Diamond of The Wall Street Journal reports.

Abreu has appeared just once in the postseason, allowing two runs while recording just two outs. Chris Devenski will take his place on the roster.

The Astros' lone change from the ALCS sees Devenski join the team in place of Bryan Abreu. Devenski has yet to pitch in the playoffs and posted an unremarkable 4.83 ERA in 69 regular-season innings.

Pressly left the final game of the ALCS on Saturday with right knee discomfort, a potential concern given that he underwent knee surgery in August. The Astros anticipate him being ready to go, but he's yet to be officially cleared.

Pressly delivered only one pitch but appeared to injure himself while fielding a grounder between the mound and first base. The 30-year-old underwent surgery on the same knee back in August, but it's unclear if he aggravated that injury or is dealing with a new issue. The Astros labeled Pressly day-to-day and his status for Sunday's Game 7, if it's necessary, remains up in the air.

Green will open a bullpen game for the Yankees in Game 6 of the ALCS against the Astros on Saturday.

The Yankees are expected to use plenty of pitchers as they face the second of potentially three straight must-win games. Green has been decent thus far in the playoffs, allowing two runs in 5.2 innings.

Heller was added to the Yankees ALCS roster Friday in place of the injured CC Sabathia (shoulder).

The Yankees need another reliever after Sabathia suffered a shoulder subluxation. Heller threw just 7.1 innings this season but only allowed a single run.

Lovelady underwent surgery on his right knee earlier in the week.

Lovelady is expected to require 6-to-8 weeks to recover, so he should be ready for spring training with plenty of time to spare.

Abreu is on the roster for the ALCS, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

The 22-year-old was effective in limited work during the regular season, allowing just one earned run in 8.2 innings pitched. Abreu will get a chance to contribute in the postseason against the Yankees as the Astros elect to go with a pitching staff comprised entirely of right-handers for the ALCS.
