Betances (lat) will throw a long side session Wednesday, Lindsey Adler of The Athletic reports.

The scheduled session comes after Betances pitched off the mound three times in the last week. He has been ramping up his rehab in hopes of rejoining the Yankees in September.

Gibaut was optioned to Triple-A Nashville after Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Angels, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

Gibaut fired two scoreless innings and fanned two during Game 1, but he'll be sent back to Triple-A in order for the Rangers to add a fresh arm to the bullpen.

Hernandez was recalled from Double-A Frisco prior to Game 2 of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Angels, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

Hernandez will be up as depth and could make his big-league debut. He's accrued a 5.16 ERA and 1.44 WHIP with a 95:38 K:BB over 96 innings this season at Double-A.

Palumbo (thumb) was placed on the 7-day injured list Tuesday, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

Since Palumbo was up as the 26th man for Tuesday's doubleheader, he'll be sent to the MiLB injured list. He'll be eligible to return beginning Aug. 27, though it's unclear at this time if he'll be ready to go by then.

Burke was recalled from Triple-A Nashville prior to Game 2 of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Angels.

As expected, Burke will be promoted to the majors to start the nightcap. He's set to make his major-league debut after posting a 7.88 ERA and 2.25 WHIP with 11 punchouts over eight innings at Triple-A.

Alexander was recalled from Triple-A Toledo on Tuesday.

Alexander was sent back to the minors following Friday's matchup, but since he's replacing Matthew Boyd (paternity), he won't need to wait 10 days before rejoining the big-league club. The lefty has accrued a 6.59 ERA and 1.65 WHIP with a 24:4 K:BB over 27.1 innings this season in the majors.

Palumbo was removed from Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Angels due to a blister on his left thumb.

Palumbo was lifted in the second inning after surrendering three runs, and the trainer looked to be examining the thumb on his pitching hand. He'll be considered day-to-day until further notice.

Hildenberger (arm) was activated from the 7-day injured list Tuesday, Brandon Warne of ZoneCoverage.com reports.

Hildenberger was placed on the MiLB injured list in mid-June due to a right flexor mass strain, but after finishing up a rehab assignment in the Gulf Coast League, he'll return to Triple-A Rochester, where he's posted an 8.44 ERA and 1.96 WHIP with nine strikeouts over 10.2 innings this season.

Puk's contract was selected from Triple-A Las Vegas prior to Tuesday's game against New York.

As expected, Puk will join the major-league club ahead of Tuesday's matchup. Though the team views the southpaw as a starter long term, he'll be used out of the bullpen during his time in the big leagues this season, as Oakland aims to limit his innings following Tommy John surgery in April of 2018.

Lakins was optioned to Triple-A Pawtucket on Tuesday.

After logging four innings over the last four days, he gets sent to Triple-A in favor of a fresh arm (Josh Smith). Lakins will likely rejoin the big-league bullpen in September.
