Abreu is slated to undergo an MRI on Wednesday after exiting his start for Double-A Trenton a night earlier with right biceps soreness, John Healy of SNY.tv reports.

The 23-year-old's fastball was reportedly clocked at just 89 miles per hour on his final pitch of the outing before he was pulled from the contest. The MRI should shed more light on the extent of Abreu's injury, but there's a good chance that he'll at least be shut down for at least a week in a best-case scenario. Over 82.2 innings at Trenton this season, Abreu has posted a 3.81 ERA and 1.62 WHIP.

Junis was placed on the paternity list Wednesday.

Players can spend between one and three days on paternity leave. If Junis misses the full three days, his scheduled start Friday against Cleveland would have to be bumped back by at least one day. Jake Newberry was recalled in a corresponding move.

Pressly (knee) is expected to be available for Wednesday's game against Oakland, Hunter Atkins of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Pressly hasn't pitched in nearly a week after getting hit by a comebacker in the knee on Thursday. With his 1.45 ERA and 0.78 WHIP through 43.1 innings, the Astros would certainly like to have him available soon.

Cisnero was recalled from Triple-A Toledo on Wednesday.

Cisnero has thrown 11 innings for the Tigers this season, recording a 3.27 ERA and a 1.36 WHIP. Victor Alcantara (finger) landed on the 10-day injured list in a corresponding move.

Chapman (3-2) suffered his fifth blown save of the season but was awarded the win as the pitcher of record in Tuesday's 14-12 win over the Twins in 10 innings. He was charged with one run on three walks during his lone inning of relief.

Chapman entered the contest in the bottom of the ninth with the Yankees holding a 12-11 lead and put himself in an immediate hole by walking the first three batters he faced. While he was able to bounce back with three consecutive outs to limit the damage, the tying run ultimately came around to score on a sacrifice fly. The New York offense bailed Chapman out in the top of the 10th to allow him to scoop up the win, but the hard-throwing lefty's form has nonetheless been somewhat unsettling lately. Chapman has blown three of his last five save chances, giving up six runs and walking seven in 5.2 innings during that stretch.

Green retired one batter in the 10th inning to secure his first save of the season in Tuesday's 14-12 win over the Twins.

Green was summoned from the bullpen in place of Adam Ottavino to protect a two-run lead with two outs and the bases loaded in the bottom of the 10th. Max Kepler tagged Green for a hard line drive on the fourth pitch of the at-bat, but center fielder Aaron Hicks made a diving grab to secure the save for the right-hander. While Green hasn't been nearly as dominant in 2019 as he was the previous two seasons, he's been stellar since returning in mid-May from a brief minor-league assignment. Over 24 outings since that time, Green has posted a 1.71 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 44:4 K:BB in 31.2 innings.

Robles pitched one inning against the Dodgers on Tuesday and gave up one run on two hits and a walk to earn the save.

Robles entered the game having pitched 10 consecutive scoreless innings but surrendered a run on a walk followed by a double and a sacrifice fly. He then gave up a pinch-hit single to Enrique Hernandez and would have allowed another run -- and suffered his third blown save of the season -- if not for a perfect throw from right field by Kole Calhoun to gun down Cody Bellinger at the plate and end the game. Despite the shaky appearance, Robles has a firm grasp on closing duties for the Angels, compiling 15 saves in 17 chances while posting a 2.70 ERA and 46:12 K:BB in 46.2 innings.

Payano (1-0) earned the win against Seattle on Tuesday, tossing five innings and allowing one run on three hits and one walk while striking out seven.

Payano served as the primary pitcher following Brett Martin and allowed only a single run in five innings to help Texas snap an eight-game losing streak. He struggled with his control at Triple-A Nashville this season, issuing 18 walks in 29 innings, but limited Seattle to a single free pass while tossing 54 of 78 pitches for strikes. Despite posting a mediocre 4.40 ERA and 1.28 WHIP across two minor-league stops this season, manager Chris Woodward suggested after the game that Tuesday's performance -- the first major-league win of his career -- may have earned Payano a longer-than-anticipated stay with the big club.

Hand allowed one run on two hits during the ninth inning in a blown save during a 2-1 loss against the Blue Jays on Tuesday.

This was just Hand's second blown save of the season, but he has allowed three runs in his last four innings, all of which have come off solo homers. Hand has blown two of his last seven save opportunities. He is 4-3 and 27-for-29 in save chances with a 2.55 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 67 strikeouts in 42.1 innings this season.

Manaea (shoulder) will make his first rehab start for Triple-A Las Vegas on Wednesday and is expected to work up to approximately 75 pitches, Alyson Footer of MLB.com reports.

It had previously been speculated Manaea might make his Aviators debut Tuesday, but this latest report confirms that appearance will occur 24 hours later. Assuming all goes well physically for Manaea on Wednesday, he'll likely push his pitch count to 90 during his following turn in the desert, after which he could be deemed ready for activation.
