Chapman struck out the lone batter he faced to earn the save in Saturday's 6-4 win over the Giants.

Chapman looked as though he would receive the night off as the Yankees entered the ninth inning with a six-run lead, only to see the Giants put up four runs thanks to a pair of homers. The left-hander is 5-for-6 in save opportunities and has a 2.38 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 16:3 K:BB across 11.1 innings.

Hearn has no acute elbow injury, an MRI revealed Saturday, but he'll be shut down from throwing for three weeks due to inflammation.

Hearn's major-league debut went poorly Thursday, and it's possible the elbow injury is to blame. Assuming he's cleared to resume throwing after three weeks, he'll still need time to build his arm strength back up, so he's likely looking at a return to action no sooner than early June.

Trivino (thumb) will most likely be unavailable to pitch until at least Monday, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

The news is certainly a setback for the right-hander, who injured his thumb prior to last Sunday's game against the Blue Jays. The team has kept him off the injured list and now hopes he'll be able to return to the bullpen early next week.

Johnson (elbow) will throw a bullpen session Sunday, Jen McCaffrey of The Athletic reports.

The session will be Johnson's first since being shut down with elbow inflammation in early April. He's expected to throw only fastballs.

Lopez will start Sunday's game against the Tigers after Saturday's contest was postponed due to snow.

Saturday's game will be made up as part of a doubleheader at a later date. Sunday's originally scheduled starter, Manny Banuelos, will pitch Monday instead.

Junis (hand) is listed as the probable starter for Tuesday's game against the Rays.

He left his last start with a hand contusion but will not miss a turn in the rotation. Junis lines up opposite Blake Snell in this outing and will make a second start next week Sunday in Detroit.

May entered Friday's win over Baltimore in the eighth inning with the bases loaded and retired the only batter he faced to lower his ERA to 3.72. He's stranded all five runners he has inherited this year.

May entered spring training as the apparent favorite to close games for the Twins, but he's been utilized in a high-leverage fireman-type role. Blake Parker has the most saves, but May could still figure into the mix at some point this season.

Miller allowed four runs on three hits and five walks while striking out four over five innings in Friday's 5-4 loss to the Mariners. He did not factor in the decision.

This marked the second straight start that Miller was competitive and pitched at least five innings, which is progress for him and a relief to Texas' overworked bullpen. Improvement is still needed, though, as the right-hander has walked 18 batters over 20.1 innings in his five starts. Miller will lug a 7.52 ERA into his next start Friday at home against Toronto.

McHugh didn't factor into the decision in Friday's 6-3 loss to Cleveland, allowing three runs on four hits -- including three home runs -- and two walks over 5.2 innings while striking out nine.

The right-hander threw 62 of 99 pitches for strikes while falling one out shy of his fourth quality start of the year. McHugh continues to rack up whiffs -- it's the third time in six outings he's fanned nine batters, giving him a 37:10 K:BB through 32 innings -- but he's also served up five homers in his last two trips to the mound. The 31-year-old will carry a 4.78 ERA into his next start Wednesday, on the road against the Twins.

Hand walked one and struck out the side in a scoreless ninth inning Friday to record his eighth save of the season in a 6-3 win over the Astros.

The southpaw has yet to blow a save this year, racking up a 1.42 ERA and 18:4 K:BB through 12.2 innings. After collecting 53 saves over the last two seasons and fanning at least 100 batters in the last three, Hand seems poised to cement his spot among the ranks of elite closing options.
