David Robertson RP | PHI
Yankees' David Robertson: Slams door for second save
Robertson tossed a perfect inning and struck out one Sunday against the Blue Jays, as he picked up his second save of the season.
Robertson was tagged with the loss July 2 after surrendering two runs (one earned) on a home run, but he's bounced back to put together two straight scoreless outings. He'll likely continue to see high-leverage innings moving forward, as he sits with a 3.35 ERA and 1.02 WHIP with an impressive 48:13 K:BB over 40.1 innings.

Ryan Borucki RP | SF
Blue Jays' Ryan Borucki: Tosses seven strong frames
Borucki allowed one run on seven hits and two walks while striking out five across seven innings Sunday against the Yankees, although he didn't factor into the decision.
Borucki surrendered a run in the first inning, but he settled down and put together six scoreless frames to finish off his outing. A lack of run support prevented the 24-year-old from picking up his first win on the season. Despite an 0-1 record, Borucki has been outstanding in all three of his big-league starts this season, posting a 2.25 ERA and 1.25 WHIP with 16 strikeouts over 20 innings.

Michael Fulmer RP | NYY
Tigers' Michael Fulmer: Falls to 3-8
Fulmer (3-8) was tagged with the loss in Sunday's 3-0 defeat to the Rangers, giving up three runs (two earned) on five hits over seven innings while striking out six and walking three.
It was a solid outing, but Fulmer ended up getting dealt his eighth defeat of the season as his teammates were shut out by Austin Bibens-Dirkx and the Rangers bullpen. His 3-8 record isn't pretty, but Fulmer has been pitching well lately, as he's thrown at least six innings in six of his last seven starts, posting a 39:12 K:BB over that span. He'll take the mound next against the Astros on the road next Saturday.

George Kontos RP | CLE
Indians' George Kontos: Outrighted to Triple-A
Kontos was outrighted to Triple-A Columbus on Sunday.
Kontos has now been removed from two teams' 40-man rosters this season after the Pirates previously released him in May. He'll stick around with the Indians organization this time around after going unclaimed of waivers, but he'll need to excel at Triple-A before getting another look at the big-league level.

Edwin Diaz RP | LAD
Mariners' Edwin Diaz: Slams door for 35th save
Diaz struck out all three batters he faced and picked up his 35th save in a 6-4 win over Colorado on Sunday.
Diaz is perfect over his last five outings, recording 10 strikeouts and five saves. The 24-year-old righty lowered his season ERA to 2.30 alongside a 78:13 K:BB in 47 innings. Diaz remains one of the strongest and most consistent closers in the league.

Craig Kimbrel RP | KC
Red Sox's Craig Kimbrel: Records two-out save versus Royals
Kimbrel allowed one hit while recording a pair of strikeouts in a scoreless two-out save Sunday against the Royals.
The hosts scored a run on two hits to draw within three in the bottom of the ninth, so Kimbrel came in to end the threat. He allowed a hit to the first man he faced but struck out the next two to close things out. Kimbrel has now tossed seven straight scoreless outings to lower his ERA to a minuscule 1.98 for the season.

Jimmy Yacabonis RP | NYM
Orioles' Jimmy Yacabonis: Will start during Monday's doubleheader
Yacabonis will be recalled from Triple-A Norfolk ahead of Monday's doubleheader against the Yankees to start the first game of the twin bill, Eduardo A. Encina of The Baltimore Sun reports.
Yacabonis is scheduled to make his second start of the season for the Orioles, with his first outing coming June 28 against the Mariners. In that start, Yacabonis lasted four innings, giving up six hits and a walk while fanning five. The 26-year-old right-hander has fared better at Norfolk (2.91 ERA, 1.07 WHIP in 55.2 innings), but he'll face a stiff test Monday against a Yankees lineup that paces the majors in home runs.

Drew VerHagen RP | STL
Tigers' Drew VerHagen: Set for activation Monday
The Tigers will activate VerHagen (nose) from the 10-day disabled list ahead of Monday's series opener against the Rays.
VerHagen has been sidelined for the past couple of weeks with a broken nose. After checking out fine physically during a trio of rehab appearances with Triple-A Toledo, he'll re-enter the Detroit bullpen Monday, likely working in middle or long relief.

Michael Fulmer RP | NYY
Tigers' Michael Fulmer: Takes loss Sunday despite strong effort
Fulmer (3-8) took the loss Sunday against the Rangers despite allowing only three runs (two earned) over seven innings. He gave up five hits and three walks, and struck out six.
All the damage against Fulmer came in the first two innings, including a solo home run by Jurickson Profar two batters into the game, but the 25-year-old righty settled in after that. However, the Tigers would muster just four hits and no runs, so Fulmer was saddled with a tough-luck loss. After a rough May (6.32 ERA in six starts), Fulmer has been much better since the start of June, posting a 3.47 ERA over his past seven outings. He'll get a tough test in his next scheduled start, which is slated for Saturday in Houston.

Aroldis Chapman RP | BOS
Yankees' Aroldis Chapman: Goes unused Sunday
Chapman (knee) wasn't used in relief during Sunday's 2-1 win over the Blue Jays in 10 innings.
According to Pete Caldera of The Bergen Record, Yankees manager Aaron Boone said prior to the contest that Chapman "might be available," but it was David Robertson who ended up getting the call for the save situation. It may just have been a case where Boone viewed Chapman more as a last-resort option, with the Yankees instead preferring the closer get another day off to recover from the left knee tendinitis that flared up Saturday. Since the issue isn't viewed as a major concern, Chapman's fantasy owners will still probably want to keep him active heading into the new week.
