Matt Moore RP | BOS
Rangers' Matt Moore: Tosses relief inning Sunday
Moore mopped up Sunday's 7-2 loss to the Blue Jays, allowing one hit in a scoreless ninth inning.
Moore is still a starter but was available out of the bullpen over the weekend, as the Rangers' six-man rotation has gotten all out of whack with one starter on a five-day schedule (Cole Hamels), one starter on a six-day schedule (Mike Minor) and the other four guys adjusting to those schedules. The left-handed Moore is expected to start Wednesday on eight days' rest, so Sunday's relief appearance should be seen as him getting his work in between starts.

Hector Santiago RP | SEA
White Sox's Hector Santiago: Strikes out five in spot start
Santiago allowed two runs on five hits and three walks across 4.2 innings in a no-decision Sunday against the Royals. He struck out five.
The White Sox rotation has experienced some injuries of late, so Santiago stepped in to make his first start of the season. Though he put men on all afternoon, he only allowed a solo home run in the fourth inning and was charged with another run as the bullpen let one of his baserunners score in the fifth. All in all, it wasn't a terrible outing for Santiago, whose 86 pitches significantly topped his previous season high. He figures to remain in the rotation Saturday against the Twins.

Tommy Kahnle RP | BOS
Yankees' Tommy Kahnle: Resumes throwing Sunday
Kahnle (shoulder) played catch Sunday, Marc Carig of The Athletic New York reports.
Now that Kahnle has resumed throwing, the righty will look to steadily increase the intensity of his workouts. It remains to be seen if the team's initial estimate of him returning after three weeks will be obtainable, although more information on his eventual activation from the disabled list should surface as his rehab progresses.

Craig Kimbrel RP | KC
Red Sox's Craig Kimbrel: Earns victory Sunday against Rays
Kimbrel (1-1) threw 1.1 shutout innings and struck out three batters in Sunday's 4-3 victory over the Rays.
Kimbrel gave up three hits and got into some trouble during the ninth inning, as he allowed runners to reach second and third base with just one out. However, the elite righty proceeded to strike out the next two batters and earned his first victory of the season. After 12 games (11.2 innings), Kimbrel now owns a 0.77 ERA and 0.86 WHIP.

Tyler Duffey RP | KC
Twins' Tyler Duffey: Optioned to Triple-A
Duffey was optioned to Triple-A Rochester on Sunday, Brandon Warne of The Athletic Minnesota reports.
Duffey gave up one run over three innings during Sunday's 8-2 loss to the Reds. Since being recalled from Rochester on April 24, Duffey has thrown 5.1 innings over three games, during which he's surrendered four home runs. The Twins plan on announcing a corresponding move before Monday's game against the Blue Jays.

Alex Colome RP | CHW
Rays' Alex Colome: Tagged with loss Sunday
Colome (2-3) gave up one run one two hits and a walk in Sunday's loss to the Red Sox.
Colome had improving over recent outings prior to Sunday's game. Over his last four appearances, he'd thrown four shutout innings and struck out six batters. However, his struggles returned Sunday, as he couldn't retire the opposition and threw 25 pitches during his single inning of work. Although the Rays have yet to indicate Colome is at risk of losing his role as the team's closer, his inconsistent outings have resulted in a dismal 6.00 ERA and 2.17 WHIP after 13 games (12 innings).

Matt Andriese RP | MIA
Rays' Matt Andriese: Throws 3.1 shutout innings Sunday
Andriese threw 3.1 shutout innings and struck out three batters in a no-decision Sunday against the Red Sox.
The Rays used Sunday as a bullpen day and sent Andriese to the mound to make his first start of the season. Despite entering the game with a 5.40 ERA and 1.28 WHIP, the righty was solid and gave up just two hits over 3.1 innings. Although he could occasionally be used as a starter going forward, Andriese isn't in line to see many high-leverage situations out of the bullpen, which limits his fantasy value.

Eduardo Paredes RP | DET
Angels' Eduardo Paredes: Optioned to Triple-A Salt Lake
Paredes was optioned to Triple-A Salt Lake on Sunday.
In a corresponding move, Akeel Morris was recalled from Salt Lake. Although he could return to the majors at some point this season, Paredes offers little fantasy value and doesn't figure to see many high leverage situations. Over three games (six innings) with the Angels this season, Paredes has given up two runs on two walks and five hits, with one of said hits being a home run.

Akeel Morris RP | SF
Angels' Akeel Morris: Returns to big club
Morris was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake on Sunday.
Morris has been solid with Salt Lake this season. Over eight games (10 innings), he's given up two runs on five hits and two walks while striking out 10 batters. He was with the big club briefly this season, appearing in one game and allowing one run over 2.1 innings.

Daniel Norris RP | CLE
Tigers' Daniel Norris: Suffers groin injury in start
Norris was diagnosed with left groin tightness after being removed in the third inning of his spot start Sunday against the Orioles.
The injury is a familiar one for Norris, who was sidelined during spring training and for portions of the 2017 campaign with a strained left groin. With that history in mind, it seems like a decent bet that Norris will land on the 10-day disabled list, though the Tigers will presumably put him through a battery of tests before making a decision on that front.
