Drew Pomeranz RP | CHC
Red Sox's Drew Pomeranz: Officially reinstated from disabled list
Pomeranz (forearm) was activated from the 10-day disabled list prior to Friday's start against Oakland, Sean McAdam of the Boston Sports Journal reports.
Pomeranz will face no restrictions during his 2018 debut after missing the first few weeks of the season due to a forearm flexor strain. The left-hander appeared in two minor-league rehab outings, most recently tossing five innings with Double-A Portland last Friday. In a corresponding move, the club optioned Marcus Walden to Triple-A Pawtucket.

Tim Mayza RP | PHI
Blue Jays' Tim Mayza: Sent back to Triple-A
Mayza was optioned to Triple-A Buffalo on Friday.
Mayza was sent down to clear a roster spot for Kendry Morales, who returns from his stay on the disabled list with a hamstring injury. Mayza tossed just one inning in his brief stay in Toronto, striking out one batter and not allowing a run. He could be back in a low-leverage role for the Blue Jays later this season but is unlikely to be much of a fantasy asset.

Jake Reed RP | LAD
Twins' Jake Reed: Placed on disabled list
Reed was put on the 7-day disabled list at Triple-A Rochester with right shoulder impingement syndrome, Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Reed will likely be shut down for a couple weeks while giving the shoulder some time to heal, as throwing activities can cause pain and lead to inflammation of the rotator cuff and tendons. The club has yet to provide any details on the severity of his condition, or a timetable moving forward, so expect an update in the near future. Over two appearances with Rochester thus far in 2018, Reed has allowed just one earned run off four hits while striking out five in 3.1 innings of relief.

Jakob Junis RP | TEX
Royals' Jakob Junis: Switched to night game
Junis will start the second game of Friday's doubleheader against the Tigers, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.
The Royals have elected to flip their two starters, with Junis throwing in the second game and Jason Hammel taking the mound for the first. Through his first three starts, Junis has a 1.93 ERA, though his 4.63 FIP indicates that he's getting rather lucky.

Scott Barlow RP | ATH
Royals' Scott Barlow: Up for another doubleheader
Barlow is with the Royals as the 26th man for Friday's doubleheader.
It's the second time Barlow has served in that capacity in the span of four days. He went unused in both halves of the Royals' doubleheader Tuesday. In parts of three seasons at the Triple-A level, Barlow has a 6.46 ERA with a solid 10.0 K/9 but a far-too-high 6.5 BB/9.

Warwick Saupold RP | DET
Tigers' Warwick Saupold: Rejoins Tigers
Saupold was called up from Triple-A Toledo on Friday.
Saupold opened the year in the Tigers' bullpen but lasted just 10 days before being sent down. He didn't give up a run in any of his four relief appearances, but he also didn't strike out a single batter. With a career 5.00 ERA in 75.2 major-league innings, he'll be a low-leverage reliever with minimal fantasy impact if and when he makes his way back up.

Michael Fulmer RP | NYY
Tigers' Michael Fulmer: Lined up for matinee Friday
Fulmer is scheduled to start Game 1 of Friday's doubleheader with the Royals.
Jason Hammel is getting the nod for Kansas City, while the nightcap will feature Daniel Norris and Jake Junis. After racking up 13.1 innings over his first two starts, Fulmer only made it through three frames against Cleveland in his last start April 12 at Progressive Field. He hasn't recorded more than four strikeouts in any of his first three starts, and his early drop in strikeout rate (12.7% K%, 5.0 K/9) is backed by a career-low 6.7 percent swinging-strike rate.

Jakob Junis RP | TEX
Royals' Jakob Junis: Set for Game 1 start
Junis is lined up to start Game 1 of Friday's doubleheader with the Tigers.
Michael Fulmer is scheduled to start the matinee for Detroit, while Jason Hammel and Daniel Norris are on track to face off in the nightcap. Junis was touched up for four runs on seven hits -- including three homers -- over 4.2 innings despite recording a season-high seven strikeouts in his last start against the Angels on Saturday.

Aroldis Chapman RP | BOS
Yankees' Aroldis Chapman: Records third save
Chapman struck out the side to record his third save of the season Thursday against the Blue Jays.
Chapman needed only 12 pitches to set the Blue Jays down in order to secure the win for the Yankees. He has been dominant through eight innings this season, striking out 17 batters while allowing only six baserunners.

Lou Trivino RP | PHI
Athletics' Lou Trivino: Optioned back to Triple-A
Trivino was optioned to Triple-A Nashville on Thursday, David Adler of MLB.com reports.
Trivino's initial major-league stint was brief but auspicious, as he fired four scoreless frames over back-to-back outings while recording six strikeouts. The 26-year-old right-hander had been just as effective with the Sounds before his callup, as he'd racked up eight whiffs and a save over 4.1 perfect innings across three appearances.
