Matt Andriese RP | MIA
Rays' Matt Andriese: Rocked in Labor Day loss
Andriese (6-7) was beaten up by the Orioles on Monday, allowing seven runs in five innings. He gave up nine hits, walked one, and struck out seven in the loss.
Andriese has hit the skids in a major way of late, allowing 14 runs over his last two starts. The 27-year-old had an impressive 2.77 ERA before the All-Star break, but has been a punching bag of late, watching his ERA balloon to 4.58. He'll try to get back on track Sunday against the Yankees.

Kyle Crockett RP | CIN
Indians' Kyle Crockett: Recalled Monday
The Indians recalled Crockett from Triple-A Columbus on Monday, MLB.com's Jordan Bastian reports.
Crockett will rejoin the Indians after spending the last couple weeks in the minors. He has not had much success with the Indians this season, giving up nine earned runs in 14.1 innings (5.65 ERA) over 24 appearances, but he will provide the big club another left-handed option out of bullpen down the stretch.

Michael Tonkin RP | MIN
Twins' Michael Tonkin: Will play catch again Tuesday
Tonkin (shoulder) is set to play catch again Tuesday, Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Tonkin performed the same activity over the weekend to encouraging results, but hasn't yet been cleared to begin throwing off a mound as part of a bullpen session. Until that happens, Tonkin can't be deemed especially close to returning to active duty out of the Twins' bullpen.

Tommy Kahnle RP | BOS
White Sox's Tommy Kahnle: Earns first save of season
Kahnle threw a scoreless 12th against the Twins on Sunday to earn his first save of the season.
The Sox had already used their primary late-inning men earlier in Sunday's affair, so manager Robin Ventura gave the ball to Kahnle to close this one out. Kahnle has not allowed a run in eight of his last nine appearances, and he is making a case for a middle-inning role in next year's bullpen.

Dellin Betances RP | LAD
Yankees' Dellin Betances: Notches eighth save Sunday
Betances struck out two over 1.1 perfect innings to pick up his eighth save of the season in Sunday's win over the Orioles.
He's now 8-for-9 in save chances since the Yankees traded away Aroldis Chapman and Andrew Miller a little more than a month ago. With the team trying to make a late playoff push, Betances should continue seeing plenty of opportunities to rack up saves down the stretch.

Craig Kimbrel RP | KC
Red Sox's Craig Kimbrel: Victim of walk-off loss Sunday
Kimbrel entered Sunday's game to start the ninth inning in a non-save situation, then allowed a walk and a double to take the loss in Sunday's 1-0 loss to the Athletics.
The game's end was aided by left-fielder Brock Holt's inability to cleanly field the ball, but a five-pitch walk (with four missing badly) and a well-struck ball is not what you want from a closer of Kimbrel's ilk. His performance in non-save situations has been a problem all season for Boston -- Kimbrel has allowed 28 baserunners in 17.1 innings in such situations, but just 20 in 26.2 innings during save chances.

Kendall Graveman RP | ARI
Athletics' Kendall Graveman: Fans seven in no decision Sunday
Graveman (10-9) allowed no runs on six hits and two walks while striking out seven over 6.1 innings, but received no decision Sunday against the Red Sox.
Graveman has now fired four straight quality starts to lower his ERA to 3.81, his lowest mark since April. He's clearly shown improvement from last year, which was his first extended action in the majors, when he posted a 4.05 ERA to go with a 1.42 WHIP.
-
Ken Giles RP | ATL
Astros' Ken Giles: Notches eighth save of 2016 on Sunday
Giles allowed one run on one hit while striking out two over one inning to record his eighth save of the year Sunday against the Rangers.
Although he's converted each of his seven save opportunities in the past month, Giles has allowed runs in five of his 12 outings, and has a 3.64 ERA on the year. After posting an ERA below 2.00 in both of the last two seasons, Giles has failed to be nearly as dominant in his first year with the Astros.
-
Collin McHugh RP | ATL
Astros' Collin McHugh: Only lasts 4.1 innings in no decision Sunday
McHugh (9-10) allowed five runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out three over 4.1 innings, but received no decision Sunday against the Rangers.
McHugh has only recorded one quality start over his last five outings, and his ERA has risen from 4.69 to 4.96 on the season. After posting a pair of solid campaigns with the Astros in 2014 and 2015, he's had major regression in his numbers this year.

Daniel Norris RP | CLE
Tigers' Daniel Norris: Fans seven in no decision Sunday
Norris (2-2) allowed three runs on four hits and one walk while striking out seven over six innings in a no-decision against the Royals on Sunday.
Norris hasn't allowed more than three runs in any of his six starts since rejoining the rotation on Aug. 9, and he's lowered his ERA from 4.85 to 3.94 during that span. After posting a 3.75 ERA along with a 1.20 WHIP in 2015, he's taken a step backward this season, especially with his current 1.51 WHIP.
