  • Joe Jimenez RP | ATL

Tigers' Joe Jimenez: Hasn't allowed an earned run in 2016

Jimenez has 41 strikeouts in 24.1 innings between High-A Lakeland and Double-A Erie. He hasn't allowed an earned run this season.

Jimenez's dominant start to 2016 has just continued in Double-A, where he has three saves, 0.71 WHIP and 14 strikeouts in seven innings. It's only a matter of time for Jimenez to get a look with the Tigers.

  • Brad Boxberger RP | CHC

Rays' Brad Boxberger: Scheduled to play catch Monday

Boxberger (oblique) is scheduled to play catch Monday, Roger Mooney of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

It will mark Boxberger's first activity since May 31, when he aggravated his oblique injury and landed back on the disabled list. Boxberger's four-to-eight week recovery timetable means he probably won't be back until around the All-Star break, however, but the fact that he's throwing again suggests he's making sound progress.

  • Drew VerHagen RP | STL

Tigers' Drew VerHagen: Transferred to 60-day DL on Monday

VerHagen (shoulder) was transferred to the 60-day DL on Monday.

VerHagen will miss a significant amount of time due to his shoulder injury, and is looking at a return sometime in August barring any set backs. The 25-year-old has struggled all season, posting an awful 7.11 ERA with a 1.84 WHIP in 19 appearances.

  • White Sox's David Robertson: Takes first loss of season against Indians

Robertson allowed a run on two hits and two walks in two-thirds of an inning against the Indians on Sunday to take his first loss of the season.

The White Sox did not hand Robertson a save situation in this game, but the pressure was still on in an extra-inning contest. The pair of walks pushed his season total to 14, or one more than he allowed all of last season. Robertson's hold on the Sox's closer gig is secure, but that role is slightly less lucrative during their current losing streak, and his peripherals on the whole have been less impressive than in seasons past.

  • Chris Devenski RP | NYM

Astros' Chris Devenski: Earns long save versus Reds

Devenski allowed just one hit with two strikeouts across 3.1 scoreless innings versus the Reds on Sunday to earn his first save of the season.

Starter Mike Fiers (leg) left the game in the sixth inning after getting smacked with a line-drive, and Devenski was called upon to go the rest of the way, as Houston already had a four-run lead at the time. Devenski is useful to Houston as a long man out of the bullpen, but he is not expected to see many, if any, conventional save opportunities moving forward.

  • Red Sox's Craig Kimbrel: Strikes out the side in Sunday save

Kimbrel struck out the side in a perfect inning Sunday against the Mariners to capture his 16th save of the season.

The hard-throwing righty last blew a save on May 28, but he has followed that with seven scoreless outings and has allowed just two baserunners during that span. Kimbrel now boasts a strong 1.98 ERA and a minuscule 0.70 WHIP this season and has reclaimed his spot as one of the top fantasy relievers in the game.

  • Sean Manaea SP | NYM

Athletics' Sean Manaea: Throws 20-pitch bullpen session

Manaea (arm) threw a 20-pitch bullpen session Sunday, John Hickey of the San Jose Mercury News reports.

The Athletics are planning to have Manaea perform one more bullpen session before determining if he's ready to begin a rehab assignment. He won't be eligible to come off the DL until June 29, but he's endured no setbacks that would suggest he'll miss much more than the minimum 15 days.

  • Trevor May RP | ATH

Twins' Trevor May: Will have bullpen session moved back to Tuesday

May (back) will have his bullpen session pushed back to Tuesday, Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

May was originally scheduled to have the session Sunday, but the Twins opted to give him a couple days to rest after he performed some mechanical work Saturday. The 26-year-old scuffled to the tune of a 6.08 ERA and 1.50 WHIP prior to landing on the DL and could be at risk of demotion to Triple-A Rochester once he's activated.

  • Liam Hendriks RP | CHC

Athletics' Liam Hendriks: Activated from DL

Hendriks (elbow) was activated from the 15-day DL on Sunday.

Hendriks completed a three-outing rehab assignment at Triple-A Nashville without incident, so he'll rejoin the 25-man roster for the first time since early May. The lefty owned a 8.27 ERA and 1.77 WHIP over 16.1 innings prior to landing on the DL, but his excellent 19:1 K:BB ratio hints that he may have been a victim of some unfortunate luck.

  • Yankees' Aroldis Chapman: Works out of trouble for 13th save Saturday

Chapman notched his 13th save despite surrendering two hits and two earned runs over an inning in Saturday's 7-6 victory over the Twins. He struck out two.

The Yankees' closer unexpectedly had to work through a 28-pitch ninth due to his own vulernability to the long ball. After striking out Robbie Grossman and Byung Ho Park to open the frame, Chapman gave up back-to-back homers to Eduardo Escobar and the pinch-hitting Kurt Suzuki. He was finally able to induce a groundout from Trevor Plouffe to end the game, allowing him to secure his 13th save in 14 opportunities this season.
