Estevez was removed from Sunday's win over the Phillies due to mild back tightness, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.

The veteran right-hander was called upon for the ninth inning with a five-run lead since he had pitched just once in the previous eight days, so the Royals had no reason to stick with him once the back issue surfaced. Estevez didn't seem concerned by the injury and will have a team day off Monday to aid in his recovery ahead of Tuesday's series opener versus Seattle.

Baltimore placed Dubin on the 15-day injured list Sunday due to right elbow discomfort.

Dubin could technically return for the Orioles' final game of the season Sept. 28, but Baltimore will most likely shut him down for 2025. Since being claimed by the Orioles off waivers from Houston on Aug. 26, Dubin has gotten into seven games, allowing three runs with a 7:3 K:BB over eight innings while picking up two holds. Righty pitcher Carson Ragsdale was recalled from Triple-A Norfolk to take Dubin's spot on the active roster.

Ragsdale was claimed off waivers from San Francisco in early August and has posted a 3.47 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 18:8 K:BB over 23.1 innings with Norfolk. He's worked mostly as a starter as a minor-leaguer but will likely slot out of the Orioles' bullpen during his first taste of the majors. Ragsdale's call-up is the corresponding move to reliever Shawn Dubin (elbow) being placed on the 15-day IL.

Suarez will start Sunday's game in Toronto in what's expected to be a bullpen day for the Orioles, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

During his lengthy rehab assignment in August while he recovered from a shoulder strain, Suarez built up to as many as five innings, but he's tossed between one and three innings in three relief appearances since Baltimore reinstated him from the 60-day injured list Sept. 1. With Dean Kremer (forearm) set to miss his turn through the rotation this weekend, Suarez will draw the spot start, but since he'll be pitching on three days' rest and also warmed up in the bullpen during Saturday's 5-4 loss, the right-hander may not be asked to work deep enough into Sunday's outing to qualify for a win.

Vest tossed two scoreless innings of relief in Saturday's 6-4, extra-innings loss to the Marlins. He allowed a hit and a walk while striking out one.

Vest worked scoreless ninth and 10th innings to preserve a tied game, but the Tigers fell when Rafael Montero allowed three runs in the bottom of the 11th to blow a 4-3 lead. It was just the third appearance of the month for Vest, as the Tigers are now 4-7 in September and not giving the veteran reliever many games to close out. Vest has still pitched well with a 2.57 ERA and 9.4 K/9, and he should remain Detroit's closer, at least for however long Kyle Finnegan (groin) is on the injured list.

Montero (1-2) allowed three runs (two earned) on two hits while retiring one batter to blow a save and take the loss in Saturday's extra-innings contest against the Marlins.

With Will Vest having already pitched the ninth and 10th innings, the Tigers had to turn to Montero in the 11th to protect a 4-3 lead. The veteran righty couldn't get the job done in an ineffective performance. Montero has a rough 4.88 ERA overall this season, though he's been better since joining Detroit before the trade deadline, posting a 3.71 ERA across 17 innings so far. He should remain in a middle-relief role with limited fantasy appeal.

Martin was removed in the eighth inning of Saturday's 3-2 win over the Mets due to a right hand injury, MLB.com reports. He allowed a hit and a walk while striking out one over 1.1 innings before departing.

Martin felt a tingling sensation in his right hand and was seen shaking it as he departed the field. Texas manager Bruce Bochy said following the game that the issue isn't considered serious, so Martin should be available out of the bullpen after a couple of days off.

Cano (3-7) took the loss and blew a save opportunity against the Blue Jays on Saturday, allowing two runs (one earned) on three hits while recording just one out.

With Baltimore up 4-2 in the ninth inning, Keegan Akin got the first stab at notching a save. He gave up two one-out singles and was subsequently relieved by Cano, who quickly gave up a pair of singles that plated a pair of runs to tie the score. The only out Cano recorded came on a sacrifice fly by Alejandro Kirk that brought home the winning run for Toronto. Cano came into Saturday having allowed just one run over his previous eight appearances, but he's now blown five of his seven save chances on the campaign.

Brash allowed a run on two hits and struck out one over one inning to earn the save in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Angels.

Andres Munoz had pitched four of the previous five days, leaving this save opportunity for Brash. It was a little shaky when Taylor Ward hit a leadoff home run in the ninth inning, but Brash was able to settle in and convert his fourth save of the year. He's allowed seven runs (six earned) over his last 17.1 innings, adding three saves and seven holds in that span as Seattle's top setup man. Brash has a 1.85 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 54:16 K:BB through 43.2 innings this season.

Garcia picked up a hold Saturday against Toronto, striking out one while allowing one hit and one walk in a scoreless inning.

The hold was the seventh of the season for Garcia, who's proven to be a serviceable bullpen arm since joining the Orioles. Through 13.1 innings for Baltimore, the journeyman right-hander owns a 2.70 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 13:4 K:BB. Garcia should continue to handle middle-relief work and occasional high-leverage situations for the O's to close out the campaign.
