Webb recorded a one-out save Saturday against the Mets, allowing two walks and tossing a wild pitch.

Webb clinched his first save of the season Saturday as he recorded the final out of the game, but it wasn't a relaxed outing by any means -- he walked Michael Conforto and Pete Alonso to load the bases before retiring Jonathan Villar on a groundout. Webb has now tossed two straight scoreless outings, and if he doesn't pitch Sunday, he'll end the season with a 4.19 ERA over 34.1 innings.

Davidson (forearm) will make a rehab start with Triple-A Gwinnett on Sunday.

Davidson has been sidelined by the forearm injury since mid-June, but he appears to be in the final stages of his rehab work. The 25-year-old is already eligible to be activated from the 60-day injured list, though there's been no indication whether he'll be an option for the postseason roster once fully ramped up.

Knehr is listed as the Padres' starting pitcher for Sunday's season finale in San Francisco.

After being recalled from Triple-A El Paso on Sept. 28, Knehr covered two innings out of the bullpen later that day against the Dodgers, but he hasn't been used since. He'll get the chance to fill the opening in the rotation for the final game of the season, but because he hasn't covered more than four innings in a game in the majors or minors since late July, the 24-year-old righty isn't expected to work deep into Sunday's start.

Mears (1-0) allowed one hit in one-third of an inning of work en route to the win in Saturday's 8-6 victory over the Reds.

Mears picked up the first decision of his career Saturday night, though he did concede an RBI double that tied the game before inducing a groundout from Nick Castellanos to end the frame. It's probably not how he dreamed of his first big-league win, but they all count.

Kranick allowed three earned runs on five hits and two walks with two strikeouts through four innings, taking a no-decision in Saturday's 8-6 win over the Reds.

Kranick struggled to subdue Cincinnati's bats; the big blow came in the fourth via a two-run shot by Eugenio Suarez that gave the Reds a 4-0 lead. Thankfully for Kranick, the Pirates rallied to spare him the loss. The right-hander finishes the season with an inflated 6.28 ERA and a suboptimal 32:19 K:BB. Even with these numbers, Kranick flashed upside in his first campaign (he was pulled after five perfect innings in his MLB debut against the Cardinals in June), and will squarely be in the fight for a roster spot next season.

Santillan (1-3) allowed one run on one hit with two strikeouts in an inning of work, taking the loss in Saturday's 8-6 defeat to the Pirates. He also hit a batter.

Santillan got the first two outs of his inning before plunking Yoshi Tsutsugo and coughing up an RBI triple to Bryan Reynolds that would be the difference in the game. The rookie has had a bit of a topsy-turvy season, as he began life with the Reds as a starter before occupying a few different roles in the bullpen. He'll be an interesting watch in camp next year as Cincinnati tries to figure out how to best deploy the right-hander.

Floro locked down his 14th save of the season Saturday against the Phillies, giving up one hit with a pair of strikeouts.

Floro preserved a 3-1 lead by striking out Andrew McCutchen and J.T. Realmuto before stranding Freddy Galvis's two-out single. The 30-year-old Floro has converted 14 of 20 save opportunities in his first season as a closer, logging a 2.86 ERA and 61:25 K:BB over 63 innings. He's also recorded a career-high 11 holds.

Melancon pitched a scoreless ninth inning with one strikeout to earn the save against the Giants on Saturday.

Melancon came on in the 10th inning with a 3-2 lead and retired Steven Duggar, Buster Posey and Wilmer Flores to capture his 39th save of the season. That's Melancon's best total since 2016, when he locked down 47 saves for Pittsburgh and Washington. The 36-year-old owns a 2.23 ERA and 59:25 K:BB in 64.2 innings this season.

Adon will be promoted from Triple-A Rochester to start Sunday's game against the Red Sox, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Adon has pitched at three levels of the minor leagues this season. He spent the majority of the campaign with High-A Wilmington, where he managed a 4.97 ERA with 91 strikeouts across 87 frames. Despite throwing only 18 innings between Double and Triple-A, he'll make his major-league debut in a game that could have implications on the American League playoff picture. Most recently, Adon threw four scoreless innings while striking out seven and walking three in his only start with Triple-A Rochester.

Coonrod (thumb) made back-to-back appearances out of the Philadelphia bullpen Wednesday and Thursday against Atlanta, covering 1.1 innings while striking out two.

The first of the two appearances marked Coonrod's first game action since Sept. 22, as the Phillies had stayed away for him for about a week while he dealt with a right thumb injury. The 29-year-old owns a 4.04 ERA and 1.32 WHIP in 42.1 innings on the season.
