Smith (1-5) was tagged with the loss and a blown save Wednesday's against the Phillies after allowing two runs on one hit and one walk while fanning one across two-thirds of an inning.

Smith entered the game in the ninth inning with Atlanta holding a one-run lead, but he crumbled with just one out to go by surrendering a game-winning homer to Luke Williams. Smith has given up two round trippers over his last three outings, and he's surrendered at least one earned run in three of his last five appearances as well.

Davidson tossed six scoreless innings Wednesday against the Phillies, giving up four hits and a walk while fanning four. He didn't factor into the decision.

Pederson didn't factor into the decision, but he looked impressive on the mound and hurled his second straight scoreless outing. In fact, the left-hander has allowed just three earned runs across 17.2 innings this season and has been one of the most surprising young arms in the National League despite the small sample size. Davidson could make his next start at some point next week during the series against the Red Sox at home.

Gonzalez (3-0) earned the win Wednesday versus Pittsburgh. He struck out one in 1.1 scoreless innings.

The 25-year-old relieved Tony Gonsolin with two outs in the second inning and got Colin Moran to line out to end a bases-loaded threat. The southpaw then pitched a perfect third inning. He's been solid this year with a 2.14 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 21:9 K:BB across 21 innings. He's picked up a save, 13 holds and a blown save in 25 appearances, serving as one of the primary setup options behind closer Kenley Jansen.

Jansen allowed a walk and struck out one over 1.1 scoreless innings to earn the save in Wednesday's 2-1 win over Pittsburgh.

Jansen got the last out of the eighth inning and then worked the ninth for his second save in as many days. The 33-year-old ended the game with quick reaction time, snaring Ke'Bryan Hayes' line drive back to the mound. Jansen has a 1.75 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 30:19 K:BB across 25.2 innings this season. He is now 14-for-16 in save chances. After Wednesday's game, manager Dave Roberts said Jansen would not be available to pitch Thursday, J.P. Hoornstra of the Los Angeles Daily News reports. That could put Victor Gonzalez or Jimmy Nelson in line for a save chance should one arise.

Pomeranz (lat) played catch up to 120 feet Tuesday, MLB.com reports.

Though he has yet to return to a mound, the fact that Pomeranz has been able to extend his throwing distance is a positive sign after he was temporarily shut down from throwing in late May. Even more encouraging is manager Jayce Tingler's comment that Pomeranz has made "significant improvements" since the setback. The left-hander remains weeks away from rejoining the big club, but a return in late June is not out of the question.

Bard allowed one hit, one walk and hit a batter while striking out one across a scoreless ninth inning to earn the save Wednesday against the Marlins.

Bard was called upon to maintain a one-run lead and managed to do so to earn his eighth save of the season. However, he ran into some struggles in the process by loading the bases before recording the final out. Despite the adventure, has now thrown 12.1 consecutive scoreless innings and is the clear closer in Colorado.

Littell allowed a walk and struck out one in one inning as the opener in Wednesday's 4-3 extra-innings loss to Texas. He did not factor in the decision.

Littell got the game going in a positive manner with a fairly strong inning. Wednesday was his first major-league start since 2018. He's been an effective option out of the bullpen with a 1.56 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 15:6 K:BB across 17.1 innings this season. The 25-year-old has also picked up four holds, but he remains behind at least Tyler Rogers and Jake McGee when it comes to closing duties.

Menez allowed one hit and struck out three in two shutout innings, earning a hold in Wednesday's 4-3 extra-innings loss to the Rangers.

Menez has now pitched two scoreless frames in each of his three appearances since being called up May 31. Further, he's fanned seven batters and walked none. Continued success may earn the left-hander more high-leverage opportunities going forward.

Kimbrel worked a scoreless ninth inning to record the save in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Padres.

Kimbrel failed to record a strikeout in an outing for the first time since early May, but he still retired San Diego in order to secure his 15th save of the season. The veteran has been rolling along with a 0.72 ERA and 14.8 K/9, and he should be a fixture in all fantasy lineups moving forward.

Rogers allowed two runs (one earned) on two hits and a walk in two innings and was responsible for a blown save in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Rangers.

As reliable as the funky righty has been this season, he has converted just eight of his 12 save opportunities. Even so, Rogers still boasts a stellar 1.71 ERA and is tied for second in MLB with 30 relief appearances. Further, Wednesday was only the fourth appearance in which he's yielded an earned run.
