Kimbrel struck out all three batters he faced and recorded the save in Tuesday's win over the Padres.

Kimbrel was dominant as he picked up his 13th save of the season, which has been the norm so far for the veteran reliever. He now has a miniscule 0.78 ERA across 23 innings of work, and he's displayed great swing-and-miss stuff with 39 strikeouts already. Kimbrel has turned back the clock so far in 2021, looking like the perennial All-Star that he was earlier in his career.

Treinen (undisclosed) is expected to be available Tuesday against the Cardinals, Jorge Castillo of the Los Angeles Times reports.

The 32-year-old was unavailable for Monday's contest because his "body didn't feel right," and manager Dave Roberts declined to provide any specifics on the issue. Regardless, it appears to be a minor concern since Treinen is expected to be available Tuesday.

The Giants promoted Leone from Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday, Kerry Crowley of the Bay Area News Group reports.

The righty has excelled in nine Triple-A innings this year, posting a 1.00 ERA with 16 strikeouts and just three walks. Having pitched in 241 career games, Leone should provide added depth to the Giants' bullpen.

Manager David Bell said Tuesday that Hoffman (shoulder) could go on a rehab assignment later this month, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Bell was far from specific in updating the right-hander's return timeline, but it appears evident that he's a ways out from going on a rehab assignment. Given that he'll likely need to make multiple rehab outings when that time comes, a mid-to-late-June return to the Reds seems like the absolute best-case scenario at this point.

Moore will make his second rehab outing Thursday, starting for Triple-A Lehigh Valley, Conor Foley of The Scranton Times-Tribune reports.

Moore tossed three scoreless innings for Lehigh Valley on Saturday. Thursday's start seems likely to be his final tune-up before rejoining the Phillies, for whom he'll likely serve in a long-relief role.

Guzman (elbow) threw 20 pitches in a live batting practice session Tuesday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Guzman could face hitters in another live BP session or a simulated game at some point this week before the Marlins map out a rehab assignment for him. Given that he's been troubled by the elbow injury since early in spring training, Guzman may need to make multiple rehab starts in the lower minors before likely joining the Triple-A Jacksonville rotation once he's reinstated from the 60-day injured list.

Moore (back) tossed three scoreless innings for Triple-A Columbus in a rehab start Saturday. He gave up a hit and no walks while striking out five in the 41-pitch outing.

Moore looks like he'll be in store for a brief stay on the 10-day injured list, but the Phillies may want to see him get in one more tune-up outing in the minors before activating him. The southpaw is expected to fill a long-relief role for Philadelphia once he's reinstated from the IL.

Perez was recalled by the Reds on Tuesday.

This will mark Perez's fourth stint with the Reds this season. He has logged 15.2 innings across 17 major-league appearances so far this season, posting a 7.47 ERA and 1.85 WHIP while punching out 13. He'll look to find better results in the majors this time around. Max Schrock was moved to the 10-day IL with a left calf strain in a corresponding roster move.

Ponce de Leon allowed three earned runs on four hits over 1.2 innings in a loss to the Dodgers on Monday. He struck out one.

Ponce de Leon successfully navigated the dangerous quartet of Mookie Betts, Max Muncy, Justin Turner and Cody Bellinger in the seventh before unraveling in an eighth inning during which he yielded a solo home run to Gavin Lux and an RBI single to Matt Beaty before exiting. The rocky outing extended a rough patch for Ponce de Leon that's seen him allow at least one earned run in three of his last four appearances while pitching to a 9.64 ERA and 1.93 WHIP over the 4.2-inning sample. The right-hander has yet to truly hit his stride, as he now carries a bloated 7.64 ERA and 1.64 WHIP across 17.2 innings this season.

Boxberger threw a scoreless 10th frame and picked up the win in Monday's extra-inning victory over the Tigers.

Boxberger spent the early portion of May working in middle relief, but he has played a more prominent role since the Brewers traded J.P. Feyereisen to the Rays on May 21, and that has resulted in him picking up two wins since that date. The veteran righty has allowed just one hit and posted a 6:2 K:BB in five scoreless innings over his last six appearances, so expect him to remain in the late-inning mix for the time being.
