Stanek (hip) was traded from the Rays to the Marlins on Wednesday along with Jesus Sanchez in exchange for Trevor Richards and Nick Anderson, Craig Mish of FNTSY Sports Radio reports.

Stanek, who is currently on the injured list with a hip injury, is expected to report to High-A Jupiter, where he'll likely make a couple of minor-league rehab appearances before joining the Marlins, per Andre Fernandez of The Athletic. In 41 appearances this season, the righty reliever owns a 3.40 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 61:20 K:BB in 55.2 innings.

Kolarek was traded from the Rays to the Dodgers on Wednesday in exchange for Niko Hulsizer, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.

The Dodgers weren't able to land the big bullpen arm they were hoping for, but Kolarek is a serviceable lefty reliever. In 54 appearances with the Rays this season, Kolarek owns a 3.95 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 36:14 K:BB in 43.1 innings.

Bukauskas was traded from the Astros to the Diamondbacks along with Corbin Martin, Seth Beer and Josh Rojas in exchange for Zack Greinke, Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports.

In what could have been a breakout season for the 6-foot righty, Bukauskas' prospect stock has taken a slight hit. He has a 5.25 ERA, 1.58 WHIP and 98 strikeouts in 85.2 innings at Double-A. The jury is still out on whether he will throw enough quality strikes to stick in the rotation long term. If that fails, his fastball/slider combo could make him a lights-out reliever.

Martin (elbow) was traded from the Astros to the Diamondbacks along with J.B. Bukauskas and two other prospects in exchange for Zack Greinke, Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports.

Corbin underwent Tommy John surgery in early July and could miss the entire 2020 season, but he gives the Diamondbacks a potential mid-rotation starter a couple years down the road. The 23-year-old righty logged a 5.59 ERA in five MLB starts, but had a 3.13 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 45 strikeouts in 37.1 innings at Triple-A.

Beck was traded from the Braves to the Giants along with Daniel Winkler in exchange for Mark Melancon, Robert Murray of The Athletic reports.

Beck, a 23-year-old righty, was a fourth-round pick in 2018 and has logged a 5.65 ERA, 1.61 WHIP and 39 strikeouts in 36.2 innings at High-A. His 3.07 FIP and 2.93 xFIP suggest he has been pretty unlucky this year, but he is still old for that level and lacks a notably high ceiling.

Robertson (elbow) will require season-ending surgery to repair his injured flexor tendon, Meghan Montemurro of The Athletic reports.

Robertson is headed for a second opinion to determine the extent of the surgery; there's a possibility the veteran right-hander could need Tommy John surgery, which would put his status for the 2020 season in doubt. He's been sidelined since mid-April with a flexor strain.

Melancon was traded from the Giants to the Braves on Wednesday in exchange for Tristan Beck and Dan Winkler, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.

Melancon is one of three relievers -- including Shane Green and Chris Martin (back) -- acquired by the Braves in the past two days as the team looks to shore up its bullpen for the stretch run. The veteran right-hander compiled a 3.50 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 44:16 K:BB in 46.1 innings with the Giants. He figures to settle into a setup role with the Braves, with Greene likely to see the majority of save chances.

Shaw worked around a walk and struck out the other six batters he faced during two scoreless innings of relief in Tuesday's 9-4 loss to the Dodgers.

The lights-out showing came out of nowhere, as Shaw owned a modest a 17.9 K% on the season and yielded 10 runs in 5.2 innings over his last seven appearances heading into Tuesday. Thomas Harding of MLB.com suggests the outing could gin up trade interest in Shaw leading up to Wednesday's deadline, though Scott Oberg is probably the most alluring target among the Rockies' bullpen options that might be available.

Pomeranz was traded from the Giants to the Brewers on Wednesday along with Ray Black in exchange for Mauricio Dubon, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.

The Brewers continue to shore up their pitching, as Pomeranz and Black join Jake Faria, who was acquired from the Rays earlier in the day. The southpaw opened the season in San Francisco's starting rotation but moved to the bullpen after struggling to a 6.10 ERA in 17 appearances. Pomeranz has been lights out since moving to a relief role, firing 5.1 scoreless innings while striking out eight and allowing just one hit and one walk. Per Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the Brewers plan to use Pomeranz primarily as a reliever.

Hudson was traded from the Blue Jays to the Nationals on Wednesday in exchange for Kyle Johnston, Scott Mitchell of TSN.ca reports.

Hudson will help shore up the Nationals' bullpen -- which owns the worst ERA (5.97) in the majors -- as the team looks to hand onto a playoff spot. The veteran right-hander owns a solid 3.00 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 48:23 K:BB in 48 innings this season and should assume a setup role with his new club.
