Iglesias (1-6) allowed one earned run on two hits and two walks in one-third of an inning to take the loss Tuesday against the Indians.

Iglesias was called upon in a tie game in the 10th inning, but allowed four consecutive batters to reach base after inducing a pop up from the first hitter of the frame. It was the first earned run he allowed since May 5, a span of 12 outings. He still has a bloated WHIP of 1.40 for the season, but has also racked up 13 saves and 40 strikeouts.

Hudson (5-3) allowed one earned run on four hits and two walks while striking out six across seven innings to earn the win Tuesday against the Marlins.

Hudson shut down the Marlins, not allowing an extra-base hit across his seven innings of work. It was his longest start of the season and only the third time he surpassed five strikeouts in an outing. Hudson also showed notable improvement with his control of the strike zone after walking seven batters across his last 12.1 innings entering Tuesday's start, beginning 19 of the 28 batters he faced with a strike. Through 72.2 innings, Hudson has a 3.47 ERA, but a 1.50 WHIP and 51:33 K:BB suggest that mark could be on the rise without skill improvement. His next start is scheduled for Sunday at the Mets.

Hernandez (0-1) allowed three earned runs on five hits and a walk while striking out seven across 5.2 innings to take the loss Tuesday against the Cardinals.

Hernandez made his first big-league start of the season and pitched well, generating 14 called strikes and 18 swinging strikes. He held the Cardinals to just one run through five innings before allowing a double and infield single early in the sixth frame. He exited after getting the second out of the inning, though a throwing error allowed his second earned run to cross the plate prior to his departure. Overall, it was an encouraging outing for 24-year-old who has also posted an impressive 1.13 ERA and 1.02 WHIP with 69 strikeouts across 48 innings at Triple-A New Orleans. He'll likely get another turn in the rotation, with both Caleb Smith (hip) and Joe Urena (undisclosed) hitting the injured list. His next scheduled start is currently Tuesday at St. Louis.

Kimbrel completed a bullpen session Monday and could begin throwing live batting practice by the end of the week, Mark Gonzales of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Kimbrel is at the Cubs' spring training facility in Arizona as he progresses toward a return to major-league action after an extended offseason. The 31-year-old could seemingly head to Triple-A Iowa for some tune-up innings next week if all goes well during live batting practice.

Wilson (elbow) had two strikeouts in a scoreless inning during his first rehab appearance with Triple-A Syracuse on Tuesday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Wilson has been on the injured list with left elbow soreness for a month but appears to be nearing his return to the Mets. The 31-year-old will likely require an additional rehab outing or two but may be able to return to the majors in the near future.

Yamamoto will be called up from Double-A Jacksonville to start Wednesday's game against the Cardinals, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.

Yamamoto will make his major-league debut Wednesday with Jose Urena heading to the injured list with an lower-back tightness. The 23-year-old was optioned to the minors after failing to make the Opening Day roster out of spring training, and went on to post a 3.58 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 64:25 K:BB over 12 starts with Double-A Jacksonville.

Alexander was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday due to left forearm inflammation, retroactive to June 8, J.P. Hoornstra of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.

Alexander hasn't pitched since June 5, which is likely around the time his forearm issue cropped up. He'll head to the shelf for at least the next week, though a timetable for his return has yet to be revealed. Caleb Ferguson was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City in a corresponding move.

Ferguson has been called up from Triple-A Oklahoma City, Jorge Castillo of the Los Angeles Times reports.

The Dodgers placed Scott Alexander on the 10-day injured list with forearm inflammation Tuesday, so Ferguson has been called back up to the big club in a corresponding move. He's thrown 16.2 big-league innings this season, giving up 11 earned runs and posting a 16:11 K:BB.

Minter was recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett on Tuesday.

Minter was sent down to the minor leagues just over a month ago after posting a disastrous 9.82 ERA with 16 punchouts over 11 innings, but he'll get another shot out of the bullpen after impressing at Triple-A. Kevin Gausman (foot) was placed on the 10-day injured list in a corresponding move.

Lamet (elbow) tossed four scoreless innings in his third rehab start Monday with High-A Lake Elsinore. He scattered three hits and a walk and struck out five.

Lamet pushed his pitch count up to 56 and threw 36 strikes. With Monday's outing representing his best statistical showing to date since he began the rehab assignment in late May, Lamet looks ready to move up to Triple-A El Paso for his next outing. Assuming Lamet's surgically repaired elbow continues to respond well as he ups his workload, he could be a candidate to join the San Diego rotation as soon as late June.
