Nelson (shoulder) will make his third minor-league rehab start Friday at Triple-A San Antonio, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Nelson completed his second rehab outing with the Missions on Saturday and allowed three runs on five hits and one walk across 5.1 innings. The 29-year-old had five strikeouts and threw 84 pitches as he continues to build up his arm strength, and he illustrated significantly better control than his first appearance. The Brewers will decide the next step in his rehab following Friday's outing, though a return to the majors appears to be on the horizon.

Alexander has been recently dealing with left hip tightness, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Alexander failed to record an out in each of his past two outings, though both appearances were limited to one batter. The 29-year-old believes he sustained the injury while compensating for the hamstring injury he dealt with at the start of May. Alexander should be considered day-to-day for now, and it's unclear if he's available out of the bullpen Sunday versus the Nationals.

Venditte cleared waivers Sunday and was outrighted to Triple-A Sacramento.

The Giants will keep Venditte in the organization after removing him from their 40-man roster Thursday, when he was designated for assignment. Venditte has handled mostly low-leverage work across 68 career big-league innings, during which he's posted a 5.03 ERA and 1.31 WHIP.

Iglesias threw a perfect ninth inning Saturday against the Giants, striking out two batters to get his eighth save of the year.

Iglesias has had three scoreless outings since complaining about his usage patterns, converting two save chances in the process. He's up to 31 strikeouts in 19.2 innings, striking out batters at a pace far exceeding his previous seasons.

Hernandez threw two scoreless innings Saturday against the Giants, striking out five of the six batters he faced to notch his sixth hold of the season. With the outing, Hernandez lowered his ERA to 2.89 and his WHIP to 1.34, and he now has a 22:9 K:BB over 18.2 innings.

Reds starter Anthony DeSclafani didn't have his best stuff, but the bullpen came up huge with five scoreless innings. Hernandez probably won't be available for Sunday's game, though he might be used in a pinch if the game goes really deep, as the Reds are off Monday.

Yates struck out the side in a perfect ninth inning Saturday to record his 16th save of the season in a 4-3 win over the Rockies.

He needed just 12 pitches to dispatch Ian Desmond, David Dahl and Ryan McMahon. Yates has yet to blow a save opportunity this year and now boasts a 1.35 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and dominant 37:8 K:BB through 20 innings, and his 16 saves leads the majors.

Diaz notched his 10th save of the year with a scoreless ninth inning Saturday versus the Marlins. He allowed one hit with one strikeout and one walk.

Diaz put a pair of runners on base to bring the tying run to the plate with two outs, but he was able to record the final out quickly with a three-pitch at-bat. The 25-year-old remains a perfect 10-for-10 in save chances and has a 2.30 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 25:5 K:BB over 15.2 innings.

Beede will start Tuesday's game against the Blue Jays, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Beede had an ugly recent outing as a spot starter -- eight runs (seven earned) allowed over 2.1 innings -- as he filled in for Derek Holland, but he'll get another chance Tuesday with Holland moving to the bullpen. The 25-year-old returned to the majors Thursday to serve in a long-relief role, but he quickly made his way back into the rotation. It's not currently clear if Beede is expected to receive multiple starts, but a good outing Tuesday would certainly help his standing after his first outing.

Ferguson (oblique) will make a second minor-league rehab appearance Monday at Triple-A Oklahoma City, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.

Ferguson started his rehab assignment Friday at High-A Rancho Cucamonga and delivered a scoreless inning with one walk and two strikeouts. The 22-year-old has been on the injured list since April 28 and could subsequently rejoin the Dodgers if all goes well with Oklahoma City.

Burdi (biceps) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Saturday, Bill Brink of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Burdi will make way on the 40-man roster for the newly acquired Chris Stratton. The move doesn't appear to have any effect on Burdi's return timeline, as he's been shut down from throwing for four weeks due to a nerve injury.
