Orioles interim manager Tony Mansolino said that Wells (elbow) will begin a rehab assignment with Double-A Chesapeake on Wednesday, Jacob Calvin Meyer of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Wells will be ready to pitch in a game setting for the first time since undergoing a UCL revision and internal brace augmentation surgery on his right elbow in June 2024. Assuming the Orioles are planning on having Wells build back up as a starter, he'll likely need most of the 30-day rehab window to ramp up before he's activated from the 60-day injured list. Prior to getting the season-ending procedure last summer, Wells made three starts for Baltimore in 2024 and logged a 5.87 ERA and 1.37 WHIP in 15.1 innings.

Rodon (11-7) earned the win Sunday over the Phillies, allowing three runs on four hits and a walk over 5.1 innings. He struck out eight.

Rodon held the Phillies to just four hits Sunday, though three were solo home runs. Still, the Yankees managed to hang on for a one-run victory and give Rodon his 11th win this season, tied for third-most in the majors. The left-hander sports a 3.18 ERA with a 1.05 WHIP and 147:47 K:BB across 22 starts (130 innings) this season. Rodon is currently lined up to face the Marlins on the road in his next outing.

Kochanowicz is expected to be called up from Triple-A Salt Lake to start Monday's contest against the Rangers, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Kochanowicz will return to the Angels being sent down to the minors July 11 and making a lone start with Salt Lake last Sunday, when he allowed an unearned run over five innings. The right-hander hasn't been a meaningful fantasy contributor during his time with the Angels this season, logging a 3-9 record, 6.03 ERA and 1.63 WHIP with 65 strikeouts over 94 innings in 19 starts.

Gilbert (3-4) allowed four runs on three hits and three walks while striking out seven over five innings to take the loss versus the Angels on Sunday.

Gilbert got through four innings with little trouble, but the Angels put together a four-run rally in the fifth capped by a Mike Trout home run. Gilbert wasn't at his best with control -- in addition to matching his season high with three walks, he also unleashed two wild pitches. The right-hander allowed 12 runs (nine earned) over 26.2 innings while posting a 38:10 K:BB in five July starts. He's now at a 3.36 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 105:18 K:BB through 72.1 innings over 14 starts this season. Gilbert's next start is projected to be at home versus the Rangers.

Hendricks (6-7) allowed one run on two hits and a walk while striking out three over six-plus innings to earn the win over the Mariners on Sunday.

Hendricks was efficient, throwing 48 of 71 pitches for strikes. His last offering was taken out by Cal Raleigh to lead off the seventh inning, which ended Hendricks' start, but it was still a good performance from the veteran right-hander after he had allowed 11 runs (10 earned) over his previous three starts spanning 13.2 innings. He also came away with his first win since June 17 versus the Yankees. On the year, Hendricks has a 4.73 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 70:26 K:BB through 106.2 innings across 20 starts. He is tentatively projected to make his next start at home versus the White Sox.

Buehler did not factor into the decision in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Dodgers, allowing three runs on four hits and five walks over 4.2 innings. He struck out four.

Buehler's final line certainly could have looked a lot worse, as the right-hander struggled again with his command -- Buehler's issued 23 walks over just 34 innings in his last seven starts. His ERA now sits at a subpar 5.72 on the year with a 1.54 WHIP and 71:41 K:BB across 18 starts (89.2 innings). Buehler is currently lined up to face the Astros at home in his next outing.

Sugano (8-5) earned the win Sunday over the Rockies, allowing a run on four hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out eight.

It was an impressive outing from Sugano, who matched a season high with his eight strikeouts while allowing a lone run on a Warming Bernabel homer in the second inning. It's the second quality start in three outings since the All-Star break for Sugano. The 35-year-old right-hander lowered his ERA to 4.38 with a 1.33 WHIP and 71:28 K:BB across 20 starts (109 innings) this season. Sugano is currently scheduled to face the Cubs on the road his next time out.

Gordon (4-3) took the loss Sunday against the Athletics, yielding four runs on six hits and no walks over five innings with six strikeouts.

The Houston southpaw opened the first frame by conceding solo homers to Miguel Andujar and Shea Langeliers and was unable to recover. Gordon tossed 99 pitches, 66 of which were strikes, as he did manage to notch six Ks for the first time in seven appearances, dating back to May 31. Across 62.2 total frames, the 26-year-old rookie sports a 4.74 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 54:11 K:BB. Gordon is currently slated to make his next start at Boston next weekend; however, his future in the Astros rotation may be limited as Luis Garcia (elbow), Cristian Javier (elbow) and Lance McCullers (blister) all are nearing returns from their respective injuries.

Leiter (7-6) allowed a run on two hits and three walks while striking out seven over six innings to earn the win over Atlanta on Sunday.

Leiter allowed three of those baserunners and the lone run on his line in the second inning, but he settled down well after that and received plenty of run support. He's won three starts in a row, allowing just six runs over his last 17.1 innings despite a 20:11 K:BB in that span. Leiter is now at a 4.09 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 83:45 K:BB through 92.1 innings across 18 starts this season. His next start is projected to be at Seattle.

Burke conceded two runs on five hits and one walk over 4.2 innings while not factoring into the decision in Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Cubs. He struck out eight.

Burke followed rookie opener Grant Taylor in the series finale. The 25-year-old righty managed to generate a solid 14 whiffs out of 91 total pitches to notch a season-high eight punchouts. Burke, who has tossed 101 innings this season, is rapidly approaching his career high in innings pitched, as his previous best came in 2022 when he fired 108 frames across three minor-league levels. Accordingly, the White Sox will likely find creative ways to manage his usage going forward. The former Maryland Terrapin will carry a 4.17 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 93:48 K:BB into his next appearance -- whether Burke will start or follow an opener is unknown -- at the Angels next weekend.
