Whitlock's scheduled start against the Rays on Friday has been postponed due to inclement weather.

The game has been rescheduled for Monday at 4:05 p.m. EDT, when both Tampa Bay and Boston had scheduled off days. The two clubs will already be playing in a makeup doubleheader Saturday. Whitlock will have his start moved back a day, but it's unclear whether he'll take the mound for the first or second game of Saturday's twin bill.

Rodon (back/forearm) was able to throw 30 pitches during a two-up session Friday, and he could face live hitters in the next few days, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.

Phillips notes that Rodon had two "ups" in his session, and that his fastball sat 90-93 mph. Rodon has yet to be able to make his debut in 2023 because of a forearm strain as well as a back injury. The left-hander will need to rebuild his arm strength, but if he is able to face live hitting in the next few days, it could put him on track to make his first start with the Yankees before the end of June.

Manning (foot) threw a bullpen session Friday, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Manning began throwing off a mound last week for the first time since fracturing his right foot in April and is scheduled to face live hitters next week. He is eligible to return June 12, but given that he will almost certainly need a rehab assignment, a return later in June seems more likely.

Faedo reported tenderness in his right middle fingernail after his start Tuesday, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Faedo has been getting daily treatment on his finger, and it is unknown whether or not he will be able to make his next scheduled start Monday against Philadelphia. His injury could help explain his struggles Tuesday, as he allowed six runs on seven hits and a walk over 4.1 frames.

Skubal (elbow) will begin a rehab assignment with High-A West Michigan on Sunday, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Coming up on a year since undergoing flexor tendon surgery on his left elbow, Skubal is set to return to game action after completing another bullpen session Thursday. He will likely require 4-5 starts in the minors as he builds his arm up, putting his return to the Detroit rotation sometime in late June.

The Tigers recalled Olson from Triple-A Toledo on Friday ahead of his start against the White Sox.

Olson will enter the Tigers' rotation in place of the injured Eduardo Rodriguez (finger). The 23-year-old righty doesn't have great stats in Triple-A this season, but he's been able to put it together as of late. Over his last three starts with Toledo, he's allowed two runs in 14.1 innings while maintaining a 22:6 K:BB. Olson collects strikeouts at an impressive rate, but his inability to work deep into games limits his fantasy value.

Woo is set to be called up and draw the start Saturday versus the Rangers, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

With Marco Gonzales (forearm) being skipped in the rotation, Woo will jump straight from Double-A Arkansas to the big leagues. The 23-year-old has compiled an impressive 2.05 ERA and 0.89 WHIP with 59 strikeouts over 44 innings in nine starts with Arkansas this season. Woo was selected in the sixth round of 2021 MLB Draft and he'll join 2021 fourth-rounder Bryce Miller in making his major-league debut for Seattle in 2023.

Sale was placed on the 15-day injured list Friday with left shoulder inflammation, Tom Caron of NESN reports.

Red Sox manager Alex Cora confirmed the news of the IL stint on NESN's pregame coverage while expressing hope that it's only a "minor" issue. Sale was pulled from his start Thursday night against the Reds after feeling discomfort in his left shoulder in the top of the fourth inning. He underwent both an MRI and CT scan Friday, the results of which are still being evaluated. It could be a situation where Sale winds up seeking multiple opinions before an official diagnosis is presented. Corey Kluber is back from paternity leave and will presumably take over the vacant spot in Boston's rotation.

Gonzales will undergo testing on his forearm and have his start skipped Saturday versus the Rangers, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Gonzales felt some discomfort in his left forearm after his outing Sunday against the Pirates and will now reportedly be replaced on the mound Saturday by Bryan Woo, who's set to be called up from Double-A Arkansas for the start. Once the results of the testing on his forearm come to fruition, it's possible that Gonzales could be set for a stint on the injured list.

Quantrill was placed on the 15-day injured list Friday with right shoulder inflammation, Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports.

Quantrill has been struggling mightily on the mound recently, surrendering 14 runs through 8.1 innings across his last two starts. A trip to the IL will ensure that he feels 100 percent ahead of his next start and could help him return to his usual self. Aaron Civale (oblique) was reinstated from the 15-day injured list Friday and will take Quantrill's spot in Cleveland's rotation.
