Seabold (pectoral) was placed on the 7-day injured list Tuesday, Alex Speier of The Boston Globe reports.

Seabold has been managing a pectoral injury recently, and he was scratched from his scheduled start for Triple-A Worcester last Friday. The injury isn't considered serious, but he'll now be forced to miss at least one more outing while on the injured list. Seabold has produced a 2.45 ERA and 0.94 WHIP with 37 strikeouts over 36.2 innings spanning seven starts with Worcester this season.

Lynn (knee) is scheduled to throw live batting practice Tuesday, Betelhem Ashame of MLB.com reports.

Lynn threw an inning of live batting practice Friday and will repeat the exercise Tuesday. Though only a small step, Lynn continues to make progress toward his season debut. He is eligible to come off the injured list June 6, but his return could come later in the month as he will likely need a few rehab outings prior to being activated.

Berrios didn't factor into the decision in Monday's 7-3 extra-inning loss to the Cardinals, allowing three runs on seven hits over 6.1 innings. He struck out seven without walking a batter.

The right-hander pounded the zone in his second straight quality start and fourth of the season, tossing 71 of 102 pitches for strikes. The seven whiffs were also a season high for Berrios, and since stumbling out of the gate in early April he has a 3.86 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 30:8 K:BB through his last seven outings and 42 innings.

Greinke (0-3) took the loss against Arizona on Monday, pitching 3.2 innings and allowing seven runs on five hits and four walks while striking out five.

In stark contract to most of his outings this season, Greinke received plenty of run support in the contest, as Kansas City exploded out of the gate with four first-inning runs. However, the veteran gave three runs back in the bottom of the frame and ended up being charged with a season-high seven earned runs while failing to escape the fourth inning. Greinke struggled with both his control and command in the outing, doubling his season total with four walks and serving up a pair of long balls. Curiously, he also registered a season-high five strikeouts and induced 11 swinging strikes. Greinke's ERA rose from 3.48 to 4.53 as a result of the poor outing. He'll look to get back on track in his next start, which is scheduled to come in Minnesota this weekend.

Gonzales (3-4) snatched a win Monday after he pitched 5.1 innings, allowing five runs on eight hits while striking out three against the Athletics.

Gonzales was not sharp in Monday's outing, giving up three runs in the fourth inning and two more in the sixth. The eight hits he surrendered matched a season high while he also allowed his ninth homer of the year in the fourth frame off the bat of Chad Pinder. Nonetheless, Gonzales outdueled Athletics starter Zach Logue, who gave up seven runs over 4.2 frames. Prior to Monday, the 30-year-old Gonzales had given up three or fewer runs in all eight of his starts, but the rough outing raised his season-long ERA from 3.08 to a still respectable 3.74 over 43.1 innings.

Garcia (3-3) was tagged with the loss Monday after he pitched five innings, giving up four runs (two earned) on five hits and two walks while striking out four against the Guardians.

Garcia gave up two runs in the top of the third after committing a throwing error and then later surrendered a two-run homer to Jose Ramirez in the fifth frame. It was his second consecutive loss, and he has now surrendered five earned runs over nine innings in his last two starts after allowing just three runs over 18 frames in his prior three outings. The two-game hiccup has raised his ERA from 2.94 to a still strong 3.38 over 42.2 innings in 2022. Garcia has struggled with the long ball this season, allowing seven of them over eight starts and posting a 1.48 HR/9. He'll look to get back in the win column in his next outing, which tentatively lines up vs. the Mariners on Sunday.

Lyles (3-4) allowed four runs (three earned) on five hits and two walks over 6.2 innings Monday, striking out eight and earning a win over the Yankees.

Nearly all the damage against the 31-year-old was caused by Aaron Judge. Lyles served up a pair of homers to the Yankees slugger, including a two-run shot in the fifth to tie the game at 4-4. He had allowed just one home run over his previous four starts and he's now given up seven through 52.2 innings. For now, it's a noticeable improvement after Lyles was tagged for a league-worst 38 long balls last season. He'll carry a 4.10 ERA into his projected matchup with Boston this weekend.

Cole (4-1) allowed five runs on seven hits over eight innings Monday, striking out 11 and taking a loss against Baltimore.

Cole turned in an ugly final line but was mostly his usual self outside of Baltimore's four-run third inning headlined by Austin Hays' two-run single. He later coughed up a solo shot to Ramon Urias in the sixth. While his ERA jumped from 2.81 to 3.31 Monday, Cole improved his season K:BB to an impressive 62:12 through 51.2 frames, including a 35:2 K:BB over his last four starts. The 31-year-old is projected to start in Tampa Bay this weekend.

McKenzie (3-3) picked up the win Monday after he tossed seven innings, surrendering one run on three hits and a walk while striking out six versus the Astros.

McKenzie dominated in this one, firing six scoreless innings before Alex Bregman took him deep for a solo shot in the seventh frame, providing the only blemish on his line. It was the second straight outing that the right-hander pitched seven innings and his fourth consecutive quality start. The streak of dominant outings has lowered his ERA from 3.71 to 2.70 while his WHIP has shrunk to an impressive 0.90 over 43.1 innings through eight starts in 2022. McKenzie will look to continue his hot streak in his next start, which tentatively lines up for this weekend against the Tigers.

Waldichuk pitched 5.1 innings for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Sunday, allowing one run on three hits and two walks while striking out nine batters in a no-decision.

Waldichuk was promoted to Triple-A last week after posting a 1.26 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 46:10 K:BB over 28.2 innings with Double-A Somerset. The left-hander continued his dominance in his first Triple-A outing Sunday, and he has now struck out 55 batters over 34 innings across two minor-league levels this season. Waldichuk's emergence could lead to his first big-league call-up at some point this season.
