Bieber didn't factor into the decision Thursday against the Royals after allowing one run on four hits across three innings, fanning one.

Bieber has managed to make two starts since returning from a shoulder injury, and while the team played it safe with his workload, he allowed just one run through six innings in that span. Cleveland's ace ends the regular season sporting a 3.17 ERA through 96.2 innings.

Ryan didn't factor into the decision Thursday against Detroit after allowing six runs on six hits and two walks while fanning five across 4.2 innings.

Ryan spent one week away from the team but didn't look good in his return, as he couldn't escape the fifth inning while allowing season highs in runs allowed, hits allowed, and home runs given up. The rookie right-hander ends the year with a 4.05 ERA and a 0.79 WHIP across five starts (26.2 innings), posting a 30:5 K:BB in that span.

Skubal didn't factor into the decision Thursday against Minnesota after allowing five runs on six hits and a walk across 3.1 innings, striking out one.

The left-hander didn't have his best stuff Thursday and allowed three homers, but Joe Ryan, struggled as well for the Twins, allowing Skubal to end the season with another no-decision. He hasn't recorded a win since he fired six scoreless innings against the Orioles on Aug. 11, and he has gone 0-2 with a 5.18 ERA across 33 innings (eight appearances) since then.

Civale will start Sunday's season finale against the Royals, Paul Hoynes of Cleveland.com reports.

The team is hoping to get a few more innings under Civale's belt, as he has managed only 20.2 frames since the All-Star break after dealing with sprained finger. He has also not performed well in that span, surrendering a 7.40 ERA and 1.50 WHIP across 20.2 frames. Civale will look to end his season on a positive note and will enter the outing with an overall line of a 4.03 ERA and 1.14 WHIP with 95 strikeouts across 118.1 innings.

Quantrill will not start during the team's weekend series against Kansas City, Paul Hoynes of Cleveland.com reports.

Quantrill last started Monday, so he would have lined up to take the ball in the team's final game of the season Sunday. However, Aaron Civale will draw the start in his place as the team looks to build up his innings after he dealt with a sprained finger that cost him over two months of game action. Quantrill ends the season with a strong 2.89 ERA and 1.18 WHIP while racking up 121 strikeouts across 149.2 frames.

Valdez will start Friday's game against Oakland, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

It was originally expected that Brandon Bielak would draw the start, but Houston is now likely focused on setting up its rotation for the postseason. Valdez will head into his final start of the regular season with a 2.98 ERA and 1.26 WHIP while also tallying 118 strikeouts across 129.2 frames. Jake Odorizzi and Jose Urquidy are lined up to start Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

Ray (13-7) allowed five earned runs on four hits and three walks while striking out four across 5.1 innings to take the loss Thursday against the Yankees.

Ray allowed only a solo home run through five innings, but he surrendered three long balls in his final frame to sink his outing. Though he has been excellent for much of the season, Ray has stumbled a bit down the stretch by allowing 13 earned runs across 27.1 frames spanning his last five starts. Even so, Ray ends the regular season with a 2.84 ERA and a 248:53 K:BB across 193.1 innings and should be in consideration for the American League Cy Young.

Kluber allowed two earned runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out two across 4.2 innings Thursday against the Blue Jays. He did not factor into the decision.

Kluber allowed at least one hit in every inning that he pitched, though he did manage to keep the Yankees within a run before an early exit. He has failed to work five innings In four of five starts since returning from the injured list in early September. In that same span, Kluber has a 4.37 ERA with a 21:8 K:BB across 22.2 frames. Kluber will end the regular season with a 3.83 ERA and 82 strikeouts in 80 innings.

McCullers (13-5) allowed two runs on three hits and a walk over six innings to pick up the win Thursday against Tampa Bay. He had four strikeouts.

McCullers blanked the Rays through the first five innings until Brandon Lowe got to him for a two-run homer with one out in the sixth. McCullers retired the final two batters in the frame to secure his fifth quality start in as many September outings. The 27-year-old made 28 regular-season starts and established career-bests in ERA (3.16), innings pitched (162.1) and strikeouts (185).

Greinke (neck) allowed one hit and struck out two across two scoreless innings Thursday for Triple-A Sugar Land, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Greinke threw 34 pitches and was seemingly fairly sharp in the rehab outing. He may not need much more time to ramp up, as manager Dusty Baker said that Greinke could work out of the bullpen in the playoffs. The veteran right hander last threw in the majors on Sep. 19, and he had allowed 18 earned runs across 13 innings in his final three starts before hitting the injured list.
