Eovaldi (4-2) pitched six shutout innings, allowing seven hits and a walk while striking out eight in a win over the Orioles on Wednesday.

Eovaldi was locked in during this start, and the Red Sox offense gave him plenty of breathing room. The right-hander didn't allow a run over his last 11 innings this season. He finishes the season with a 3.72 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 52:7 K:BB across 48.1 innings.

Mize (0-3) allowed six runs on five hits across 4.2 innings to take the loss Wednesday against the Twins. He walked two and struck out four.

Making his third appearance against Minnesota this year, Mize wasn't particularly effective, and he was touched for two home runs for the second straight start. The 23-year-old tossed a season-high 89 pitches in what could be the last outing of his debut campaign, unless the Tigers end up playing a doubleheader against St. Louis on Monday. Mize underwhelmed with a 6.99 ERA and 1.48 WHIP across 28.1 innings, but the former No. 1 overall draft pick remains an important part of Detroit's future and could take a step forward in 2021.

Ray allowed three hits over four scoreless innings during the Blue Jays' 14-1 win over the Yankees on Wednesday. He walked four while striking out five.

Wednesday marked Ray's first outing without an earned run since he was acquired by Toronto. Through five starts with the Blue Jays, the 28-year-old has logged a 6.62 ERA over 20.2 innings of work.

Glasnow (5-1) allowed two runs on three hits and a walk while striking out eight over six innings in a win over the Mets on Wednesday.

Glasnow allowed solo shots to Andres Gimenez and Dominic Smith, but he was otherwise dominant against the Mets. The right-handed Glasnow has won three straight starts and five of his last six outings. He now has a respectable 4.08 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 91:22 K:BB across 57.1 innings this season. Glasnow will look to keep up the solid work as a key member of the Rays' rotation in the playoffs.

Giolito allowed two runs on four hits over six innings of work during Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Indians. He struck out 11 while walking three.

Giolito was locked into a pitcher's duel, as the Indians' Shane Bieber and Triston McKenzie combined for seven innings without allowing an earned run. Giolito threw 119 pitches (76 for strikes) and has thrown over 100 pitches in three of his past seven starts. He'll now have extra rest as the White Sox look towards the playoffs for the first time since 2008.

Bieber threw five scoreless innings Wednesday, allowing two hits while striking out 10 during the Indians' 3-2 win over the White Sox. He also walked three while getting a no-decision.

The White Sox tacked on an unearned run in the second and both of their runs for the game were unearned. Bieber finishes his regular season with a sparkling 1.63 ERA across 77.1 innings pitched. The Cy Young frontrunner boasts a 6.22 K/BB ratio and 12.44 strikeouts per nine innings.

McKenzie fired two scoreless innings, giving up a hit while striking out three during the Indians' 3-2 win versus the White Sox on Wednesday night.

McKenzie projects to be utilized as a weapon out of the bullpen for Cleveland throughout the playoffs. The 23-year-old displayed a healthy -- and reassuring -- rebound in velocity Wednesday, averaging 93.9 mph while touching 95 mph. Through 29.1 innings in 2020, McKenzie sports a 3.45 ERA and a 0.96 WHIP.

Teheran will not make another start this season but will be available out of the bullpen for the Angels' final few games, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

The Angels' off day Thursday means they won't need all of their starters to make one final start. Teheran certainly makes sense as the man to skip, as he owns a very disappointing 9.49 ERA and a 1.68 WHIP in 30.1 innings this season. He was already a very unexciting fantasy option as a starter given his struggles, and he's considerably less interesting as a long reliever.

Snell (4-2) was the pitcher of record in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Mets after giving up three runs on six hits and three walks while striking out nine.

After keeping the ball in the yard in both of his past two starts, Snell couldn't keep the streak going Tuesday, as both Robinson Cano and Yonder Alonso took him deep for solo shots. That was enough offense to back Mets starter Seth Lugo, who outdueled Snell by allowing only two runs (one earned) over 6.1 innings. Snell was at least able to match his season high in strikeouts, with the southpaw racking up 22 swinging strikes among his 108 pitches. Manager Kevin Cash said after the game that Snell would make his next start in the first game of the Rays' playoff opener Tuesday. Charlie Morton and Tyler Glasnow will follow Snell in the pitching schedule.

Allard allowed one hit and struck out two over two scoreless innings in Tuesday's 7-0 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Allard had a rough go of it as a starter as he attempted to fill the rotation slot of Corey Kluber (shoulder). He eventually moved to the bullpen after pitching to an 8.80 ERA over eight starts. In two relief outings, the left-hander has thrown three scoreless innings with one hit, one walk and two strikeouts. With the Rangers seemingly looking to reshape the roster, Allard will be in the mix for a rotation spot in 2021.
