Parker Bridwell SP | LAA
Angels' Parker Bridwell: Traded to Anaheim
Bridwell was traded to the Angels from the Orioles on Monday and was optioned to Double-A Mobile.
After starting out the season in Triple-A Norfolk, where he struggled in his first four innings, Bridwell will have the opportunity to take a step back and regroup in Double-A with his new organization. The 25-year-old right-hander is organizational pitching depth at this point.

Blake Snell SP | LAD
Rays' Blake Snell: Drops to 0-2 with loss to Boston
Snell (0-2) allowed four runs -- just one earned -- on seven hits and two walks while striking out five batters during Monday's loss to the Red Sox.
Some poor luck spoiled Snell's outing Monday. Brad Miller botched what should have been the third out of the second inning, then the Red Sox tacked on three runs before Snell struck out Xander Bogaerts to end the frame. With a 2.76 ERA and 13 strikeouts through 16.1 innings, the sophomore is off to an admirable start. He'll look to pick up his first win of the season in a tough home matchup against Houston on Saturday.

Vidal Nuno SP | WAS
Orioles' Vidal Nuno: Gives up two runs in one inning Sunday
Nuno was less than impressive in an inning of work Sunday, allowing two runs on two hits (including a home run) against Toronto.
Luckily for Nuno, his ninth-inning appearance Sunday came with an 11-2 lead in hand, so the Orioles didn't suffer because of his lackluster effort. The left-hander has looked shaky over his past two outings, needing a combined 50 pitches to get just six outs. Nuno's role in the bullpen is far from cemented, so the 29-year-old will need to show improvement sooner rather than later if he's going to stick around with the big-league club.

Cole Hamels SP | SD
Rangers' Cole Hamels: Still chasing first win
Hamels allowed four runs -- three earned -- on six hits and two walks while striking out two batters during Sunday's no-decision against Seattle.
The Texas bullpen couldn't hold off the Mariners, and Hamels still hasn't factored into the decision in any of his three starts to begin the campaign. The veteran lefty wasn't at his best Sunday, and he's now allowed a home run in each of his three starts. He also has just 11 strikeouts through 18 innings. After turning in reliable fantasy numbers year in, year out for over a decade, Hamels is probably set to decline for a third straight season. He's still a serviceable asset, but expecting his 2011 results is ill-advised.

Eduardo Rodriguez SP | ARI
Red Sox's Eduardo Rodriguez: Hits paternity list, will miss start Tuesday
Rodriguez was placed on the paternity list and will miss his scheduled start Tuesday against the Blue Jays, Jen McCaffrey of MassLive.com reports.
Rodriguez is awaiting the birth of a baby boy and will be away from the team for the next few days. It's only expected that Rodriguez will miss the one start, with Brian Johnson likely to take his place temporarily in the rotation.

Eduardo Rodriguez SP | ARI
Red Sox's Eduardo Rodriguez: Headed for paternity leave
Rodriguez, who was scheduled to start Tuesday, will go on paternity leave, according to Rob Bradford of WEEI.com.
Bradford also reports he's hearing that Brian Johnson will be part of the plan to replace Rodriguez on Tuesday, although nothing has been confirmed at this point.

Carlos Carrasco RP | ATL
Indians' Carlos Carrasco: Struggles with control in loss to Tigers
Carrasco (1-1) took the loss Sunday against the Tigers, allowing two runs on four hits and five walks across 6.2 innings. He struck out five.
Carrasco struggled with his command at times, issuing five walks for the first time in his nine-year big league career. He still battled into the seventh inning and was only breached by a two-run homer from Alex Avila in the second. Control issues have not been a problem at all for Carrasco, who had issued just one free pass in 2017 prior to Sunday, and his overall body of work suggests he should be in for another quality outing Friday against the White Sox.

Dylan Bundy SP | NYM
Orioles' Dylan Bundy: Tosses six shutout innings in win Sunday
Bundy (2-1) earned his second win of the season with six shutout innings in Sunday's 11-4 triumph over the Blue Jays.
While the final score is not close, the game actually played out much differently, as Bundy had to battle into the sixth inning to receive meaningful run support. He threw 66 percent of his pitches for strikes, including an impressive 15 swinging strikes, and allowed just one man past first base. Bundy's early results have been terrific, and he will take a 1.86 ERA into Saturday's start against the Red Sox.

Alex Cobb SP | DET
Rays' Alex Cobb: Hit hard again in no-decision
Cobb allowed four runs on 11 hits (one homer) while walking one and striking out none over five innings for a no-decision in Sunday's 7-5 loss to the Red Sox.
Four of the 11 hits he allowed were extra-base hits. Cobb threw 63 of his 93 pitches for strikes and saw his ERA rise to 4.50 on the year. After missing almost all of 2016 because of Tommy John surgery, Cobb is clearly still shaking off the rust, and his lack of punchouts is certainly a cause for concern after he struck out seven against the Yankees his last time out. The right-hander has the tools to be a solid fantasy starter, but until he shows more consistency, we wouldn't blame you for being cautious with the matchups.

Matthew Boyd SP | CHC
Tigers' Matt Boyd: Strong again Sunday
Boyd (2-1) picked up the win Sunday against the Indians by tossing six innings of one-run ball. He allowed seven hits and struck out three.
Boyd struggled in his first start of the season, but he's been great in his last two. The lefty battled veteran Anibal Sanchez for the No. 5 spot in the rotation during spring training, and he's definitely tightening his grip on the role. Boyd will look to keep rolling in his next start Saturday in Minnesota.
