Tommy Milone SP | SEA
Twins' Tommy Milone: Surrenders three homers in Sunday's loss
Milone (3-3) gave up eight runs (four earned) on 10 hits, including three home runs, in Sunday's loss to the Red Sox. He struck out four without walking a batter.
While a Miguel Sano error in the fifth inning saved some damage to his ERA, Milone's inability to keep the ball away from the middle of the plate is what really doomed him. On the bright side, it was the first time this year he's avoided walking a batter in a start. He'll next take the mound Saturday at home against the White Sox.

Corey Kluber SP | BOS
Indians' Corey Kluber: Looks strong in no-decision Sunday
Kluber (9-8) gave up three runs on six hits and a walk over seven innings Sunday while striking out eight, but came away with a no-decision in a 5-3 loss to the Orioles.
He was in line for the loss before Cleveland scored a run in eighth inning to tie it, only for Cody Allen to serve up a walkoff homer in the bottom of the ninth. Kluber showed no ill effects from the calf cramping that ended his last start, throwing 67 of 101 pitches for strikes and generating an impressive 20 swinging strikes. He should be safe to use next Sunday, when the Indians host the A's.

Vance Worley SP | NYM
Orioles' Vance Worley: Quality start in Sunday's no-decision
Worley (2-1) gave up two runs on five hits and three walks over seven innings Sunday, striking out three, but came away with a no-decision in a 5-3 win over the Indians.
He threw 66 of 102 pitches for strikes in his longest outing of the year, and while Worley wasn't exactly fooling anybody (generating just five swinging strikes), he was in line for the win before Brad Brach gave up an unearned run in the eighth inning to tie the score 3-3. This performance was probably good enough to keep Worley in the rotation for another turn, but if so, he'll face a stiff test Friday in Toronto.

Luis Severino SP | ATH
Yankees' Luis Severino: Recalled from Triple-A
Severino was recalled from Triple-A Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Monday, Shane Hennigan of the Scranton Times-Tribune reports.
Severino struggled in seven starts for the Yankees earlier in the season, amassing an ugly 7.46 ERA and 1.69 WHIP across 35.0 cumulative innings. The 22-year-old has turned things around at Triple-A, however, posting a 3.25 ERA and 7-1 record in 10 starts. It's unclear exactly how the Yankees will use Severino, but it appears as though he'll be utilized in a relief role initially.

Martin Perez SP | ATL
Rangers' Martin Perez: Serves up five runs to Athletics
Perez allowed five runs on nine hits and a walk with three strikeouts over six innings in a no-decision Monday against Oakland.
Perez had lost three straight games entering Monday night and has now surrendered at least five runs in each of his past four starts. He has just six strikeouts in 21.2 innings over that span and has allowed a ridiculous 34 hits. He isn't fooling anybody right now, and he's going to have to figure out how to miss a bat before he can turn things around.

Dallas Keuchel SP | MIL
Astros' Dallas Keuchel: Takes loss despite quality start against Yankees
Keuchel (6-10) allowed two runs on six hits with five strikeouts over 7.2 innings but still took the loss Monday against the Yankees.
Keuchel extended his quality start streak to seven, but none of the last three have produced wins. Still, there's lots to like in Keuchel's recent stretch -- he owns a 2.72 ERA and a 1.12 WHIP over those seven starts. However, he has just 34 strikeouts over 46.1 innings in those seven starts, and unless he can find more whiffs, he won't make a full return to his Cy Young form from last season.

Carlos Rodon SP | NYY
White Sox's Carlos Rodon: Tosses 3.2 innings at Triple-A Charlotte
Rodon (wrist) lasted 3.2 innings during Monday's rehab start at Triple-A Charlotte, giving up two earned runs on five hits with two walks.
Rodon's minor league start wasn't picture perfect, but it might be the only Triple-A outing he needs before rejoining the White Sox. That said, the organization has yet to decide his next step.

Justin Verlander SP | DET
Tigers' Justin Verlander: Continues sparkling June with win
Verlander (10-6) earned a win Monday by holding the Red Sox to one run over six innings. He gave up five hits, walked two and struck out five.
The veteran ace has now allowed a mere six earned runs in five starts this July, spanning 33.2 innings. Verlander's 144 strikeouts are already far above his total in a similar number of innings a season ago, and he is on pace to easily eclipse his 2014 total as well. The veteran righty will carry a 3.64 ERA and 1.08 WHIP into his start Sunday against the Astros.

Rich Hill SP | KC
Athletics' Rich Hill: Athletics optimistic Hill can start on road trip
Hill (blister) is still unable to throw without a protective covering on his left middle finger, but the club is optimistic he can start sometime on their upcoming road trip, the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Hill's next start is still to be decided, but a DL trip seems unlikely at this point. "We're keeping him on the roster for a reason," manager Bob Melvin said. The road trip in question runs from Monday through next Thursday, which unfortunately leaves a big window of uncertainty for Hill's owners, but he should be expected to make his return at some point before the Athletics return home Aug. 5 against the Cubs.

Chris Sale SP | ATL
White Sox's Chris Sale: To return Thursday vs. Cubs
Sale (suspension) will return to start Thursday's matchup with the Cubs, Scot Gregor of the Daily Herald reports.
Sale was hit with a five-game ban over the weekend for insubordination and destroying team equipment in an incident stemming from his displeasure with the White Sox's throwback uniforms. He'll return when first eligible Thursday for the last of four meetings between the crosstown rivals.
