Rodriguez (shoulder) is expected to make his season and Diamondbacks debut Tuesday in Cleveland, John Gambadoro of 98.7 FM Phoenix reports.

Things were pointing to Rodriguez getting a start against the Guardians and now we have an exact date for the left-hander's first major-league start of the season. He's been out all year with shoulder issues but is now ready to go following a four-inning simulated game Wednesday. Rodriguez did not make any rehab starts and he had been slated to throw 65 pitches in the sim game, so he will be limited from a pitch count perspective and might also be rusty in Cleveland.

Kelly (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment with High-A Hillsboro on Tuesday, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.

Kelly threw a three-inning simulated game Wednesday, clearing the way for him to make a rehab start. It could be the only one he needs before rejoining the Diamondbacks' rotation. Kelly has been shelved since late April with a teres major strain in his right shoulder.

The Marlins recalled Bellozo from Triple-A Jacksonville on Friday.

Bellozo will start Friday's game in Atlanta, taking the rotation spot vacated by Trevor Rogers, who is now with the Orioles. The 24-year-old right-hander will have a golden opportunity to prove he belongs in the Marlins' rotation for the rest of the season.

Rodriguez (shoulder) has joined the Diamondbacks in Pittsburgh and appears on track to make his season debut next week in Cleveland, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports.

Rodriguez had been slated to throw a four-inning, 65-pitch simulated game Wednesday and it appears he came out of that with no concerns. The left-hander could make his season and Diamondbacks debut as soon as Monday, although the club might choose to keep Zac Gallen on turn that day and give Rodriguez the ball Tuesday. If Rodriguez starts either of those days, he would be in line for a two-start week.

The Mets optioned Megill to Triple-A Syracuse on Friday, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

He's clearing out to make room on the roster for trade-deadline acquisition Paul Blackburn, who has officially been added to the roster. Megill will join the rotation at Syracuse to stay stretched out in case he's needed for a start in the majors during the final two months.

Padres manager Mike Shildt said Friday that King won't make his scheduled start Sunday against the Rockies due to a lingering left calf soreness after being hit by a comebacker in his last start this past Saturday in Baltimore, Sammy Levitt of 97.3 The Fan reports.

Shildt suggested that King just needs a couple extra days of rest and will be ready to take the hill early next week, but the Padres are still discussing their options to fill in for him Sunday. Carl Edwards has been stretched out as a starter at Triple-A El Paso since he signed a minor-league deal last month and last pitched Sunday, so he could be a possibility for a spot start. Edwards would need to be added to the 40-man roster, however.

The Phillies remain hopeful that Suarez (back) will return from the 15-day injured list to make a start during the club's four-game series in Arizona that begins next Thursday, MLB.com reports.

Suarez is first eligible to come off the IL next Wednesday after he was deactivated July 27 due to lower-back soreness. The Phillies seemingly placed Suarez on the IL as a matter of precaution more than anything else, given that he had already been dealing with spasms on the right side of his back heading into the All-Star break. The lefty hasn't been shut down from throwing, so assuming he's able to complete a bullpen session and/or face hitters without issue this weekend or early next week, he should be cleared to rejoin the rotation in Arizona.

Walker (finger) surrendered three runs (two earned) on four hits and one walk while striking out three over 2.2 innings in his rehab start Wednesday with Double-A Reading. He also hit a batter with a pitch.

Overall, Walker did a decent job of finding the zone with 31 strikes on 41 pitches, but he induced only four swings and misses on the day. He was able to avoid hard contact for the most part, with a double representing the only extra-base knock among the four hits he allowed. According to Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer, Walker is scheduled to move his rehab assignment to Triple-A Lehigh Valley for another start Tuesday, after which he could be activated from the 15-day injured list. Walker has been on the shelf since June 23 with right index finger inflammation.

Feltner did not factor into the decision in Thursday's extra-inning win over the Angels, allowing three runs on seven hits and one walk over six innings while striking out three.

Feltner kept the Angels off the board through the first three innings before surrendering a two-run shot to Logan O'Hoppe in the bottom of the fourth, tying the game at 2-2. The right-hander would then go on to allow a second long ball in the sixth, losing out on his chance for the win as the Angels took the lead. Feltner has now logged three quality starts in a row, though he's also given up multiple home runs in two of his last three outings. He's still looking for his first win since April 12 against the Blue Jays (span of 19 starts).

Bellozo will be recalled from Triple-A Jacksonville to start Friday's game in Atlanta, Kevin Barral of FishonFirst.com reports.

Bellozo is taking the rotation spot vacated by Trevor Rogers, who was traded to the Orioles earlier this week. The right-hander pitched well in two previous starts with the Marlins, allowing five runs with a 10:1 K:BB over 10 innings. He should have a chance to stick in the big-league rotation for the remainder of the season.
