Suarez (back) is listed as the Phillies' probable starter for Monday's game against the Twins at Target Field.

Suarez opted to skip out on pitching in the All-Star Game this past week while he had contended with back tightness leading up to the end of the first half of the season, but as expected, he'll be ready to pitch in the Phillies' second series coming out of the break. Despite being lit up for 15 earned runs over 15.2 innings across his last three starts, Suarez still has maintained sterling ratios over his 19 outings on the season (2.76 ERA, 1.04 WHIP, 18.8 K-BB%). His fantasy managers can feel comfortable activating him in what shapes up as a two-start week for Suarez, who is lined up to get the ball again next weekend in Cleveland.

Sanchez (7-5) took the loss Saturday as the Phillies were downed 4-1 by the Pirates, giving up two runs on eight hits over 5.2 innings. He struck out two without walking a batter.

The southpaw didn't pitch poorly, tossing 56 of 90 pitches for strikes as he fell just short of his 11th quality start of the season, but the Phillies' offense couldn't solve Luis Ortiz. Sanchez has allowed two runs or less in five of his last six starts, posting a 2.79 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 28:5 K:BB in 38.2 innings over that stretch. He'll look for a better result in his next outing, which lines up to come at home next weekend against the Guardians.

Munoz (1-5) took the loss Saturday as the Marlins fell 1-0 to the Mets, allowing one run on three hits and three walks over five innings. He struck out five.

The rookie right-hander tossed 44 of 74 pitches for strikes in one of his best big-league outings to date, but the Miami offense gave him no support at all. Munoz's control remains an issue -- he's issued multiple walks in six straight outings, stumbling to a 5.64 ERA, 1.58 WHIP and 20:17 K:BB through 30.1 innings over that stretch. The Marlins have little choice but to leave him in their injury-ravaged rotation however, and Munoz is scheduled to make his next start at home next week against the Orioles.

Severino (7-3) picked up the win Saturday, allowing two hits and three walks over six scoreless innings in a 1-0 victory over the Marlins. He struck out seven.

The right-hander tossed 53 of 91 pitches for strikes to kick off the combined shutout, giving Severino his ninth quality start of the season. The 30-year-old has been the Mets' most reliable starter this season, lasting at least six innings in eight straight trips to the mound since the beginning of June while posting a 3.66 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 34:13 K:BB in 51.2 innings over that stretch. Severino's next outing lines up to come at home next week against Atlanta.

Elder (1-4) took the loss in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Cardinals, coughing up six runs on eight hits and a walk over five innings. He struck out nine.

The nine strikeouts were a season high for Elder, and his highest total since he fanned nine Pirates on Sept. 8 of last season, but Elder also served up homers to Nolan Gorman and Brendan Donovan in a 9-5 victory for the Cardinals. Elder is saddled with a 6.35 ERA, 1.64 WHIP and 33:14 K:BB through 39.2 innings over his eight big-league starts in 2024, and he's likely headed back to Triple-A Gwinnett following this outing.

Morton came away with a no-decision in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Cardinals, allowing one run on six hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out four.

The matinee of the twin bill saw a pitchers' duel between two veteran right-handers, as both Morton and Kyle Gibson recorded one-run quality starts in an eventual 3-2 extra-inning win for Atlanta. Morton's quality start was his eighth of the year, but the 40-year-old isn't racking up the Ks like he used to -- he's fanned five batters or less in four of his last five starts, managing a 3.94 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 25:9 K:BB over 29.2 innings during that stretch. He lines up to make his next trip to the mound on the road next week against the Mets.

Gray (10-6) picked up the win in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader split with Atlanta, giving up five runs on eight hits -- including four home runs -- over seven innings. He struck out 10 without walking a batter.

The Cardinals' offense gave Gray plenty of support in a 9-5 victory, so his issues keeping the ball in the park didn't come back to bite him. The veteran right-hander had served up only four homers over his last 11 outings combined, so the sudden gopheritis likely isn't going to be a long-term concern. Gray will carry a 3.54 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and stellar 131:24 K:BB through 106.2 innings into his next start, which is scheduled to come at home next weekend against the Nationals.

Gibson came away with a no-decision in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader against Atlanta, allowing one run on three hits and two walks over 6.2 innings. He struck out six.

The veteran right-hander needed exactly 100 pitches (66 strikes) to record his ninth quality start of the season, but Gibson saw his eighth win slip away after he left the mound in the bottom of the seventh inning in a game the Cardinals eventually lost in 10. Gibson hadn't lasted more than five frames in an outing in over a month, so the rest afforded by the All-Star break appears to have done him some good. He'll take a 3.99 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 102:43 K:BB through 108.1 innings into his next start, which lines up to come at home next weekend against the Nationals.

Lodolo allowed four runs on six hits and one walk while striking out eight batters over 6.1 innings in a no-decision against Washington on Saturday.

Lodolo carried a 4-3 lead into the seventh frame before exiting with one out and a runner on first base. That runner came around to score after his departure, costing the left-hander a quality start and a chance at a victory. Despite that outcome, there were plenty of positives in the outing for Lodolo -- this was his first time exceeding 4.2 innings across his past four starts, and he had much better control after walking four batters in two of his previous three appearances. Lodolo holds a 3.51 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 89:25 K:BB over 84.2 innings this season.

Gore allowed three runs on two hits and four walks while striking out two batters over two innings in a no-decision against Cincinnati on Saturday.

Gore allowed a pair of runs in the first inning and another in the second before giving way to a reliever. He needed 67 pitches to get through the pair of frames, and only 37 of his offerings were strikes. All three of the runners who scored against Gore got aboard by way of a walk, and the southpaw's four free passes tied his second-highest mark this season. This was Gore's shortest start of the campaign and the third straight outing in which he has failed to complete five frames. Over that span, he's given up 12 earned runs over 10 innings.
