Misiorowski (arm) has resumed a throwing program, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Misiorowski didn't make an appearance after Aug. 15 due to right arm fatigue, but it would appear he's moved past that. The 21-year-old was one of the biggest pitching prospect breakouts in all of the minors in 2023, collecting a 3.41 ERA and 110:42 K:BB over 71.1 innings between Low-A Carolina, High-A Wisconsin and Double-A Biloxi. It's possible he could push to debut at some point in 2024 if he stays healthy and continues to progress.

Brewers general manager Matt Arnold said Tuesday that Ashby's (shoulder) velocity has been trending in the right direction during recent throwing sessions, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Ashby underwent left shoulder surgery in April and struggled to regain his pre-op velocity initially. However, it sounds like it has ticked back up as he further distances himself from the operation. Ashby wound up being limited to just seven rehab innings in 2023, but the hope is that he will be ready to go for spring training.

Pfaadt will start Game 3 of the NLDS against the Dodgers on Wednesday, J.P. Hoornstra of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.

The D-Backs hinted earlier in the day that Pfaadt was in line to start Game 3, and the club made it official following Monday night's victory. The right-hander will work for a better outcome Wednesday after surrendering three runs on seven hits and a walk in 2.2 frames against Milwaukee in the NL Wild Card Series.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Monday that Lynn is a "safe bet" to start Game 3 of the NLDS versus the Diamondbacks on Wednesday, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Ryan Pepiot will also pitch, perhaps in a piggyback-type situation, but Lynn will take the hill first for the Dodgers. The burly right-hander was inconsistent for the Dodgers after coming over at the trade deadline but did finish with quality starts in three of his last four outings.

Overton (elbow) cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Louisville on Monday.

Overton had been on the 60-day injured list while recovering from Tommy John surgery he underwent in May. He'll remain in the organization while rehabbing.

Gutierrez (elbow) cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Louisville on Monday.

Gutierrez had a setback in August as he was making his way back from Tommy John surgery and it's not clear what his current health situation is. The Reds felt his 40-man roster spot was better used on someone else.

Dunn (shoulder) cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Louisville on Monday.

Dunn missed all of this season with a shoulder injury which eventually required surgery last month. The right-hander will remain in the Reds organization while rehabbing but is no longer on the 40-man roster.

Pfaadt is expected to start Game 3 of the NLDS versus the Dodgers on Wednesday, J.P. Hoornstra of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.

Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo didn't want to make it official prior to Game 2 on Monday, perhaps in case Pfaadt is needed in an emergency in relief. The rookie right-hander struggled in his start against the Brewers during the NL Wild Card Series, yielding three runs on seven hits and a walk over 2.2 innings.

Kershaw is in line to start a potential Game 4 of the NLDS against the Diamondbacks, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Kershaw was torched for six runs while recording just one out in the Dodgers' Game 1 loss. The lefty's velocity and stuff was noticeably down in the outing, although manager Dave Roberts insisted afterward that the shoulder issue Kershaw has battled wasn't a problem. Kershaw would be starting on four days' rest in Game 4, something he hasn't done since May 21. He did throw only 35 pitches in Game 1, though. Kershaw posted a 2.23 ERA over his final eight regular-season starts after returning from the injured list, although that came with a 32:16 K:BB over 36.1 innings, and he didn't go more than 5.1 frames in any outing.

Grove is on the Dodgers' roster for the NLDS, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.

Despite holding an unimpressive 6.13 ERA on the season, Grove has been solid since coming back from the injured list Sept. 23. Since then, he's logged five scoreless innings and struck out six batters while walking one, helping him to beat out Ryan Yarbrough for a spot on the NLDS roster.
